In line with constant innovation, while still delivering craveable choices, Subway Singapore unveils its latest additions that are set to delight everyone with wholesome flavours and new options to end the year on a high.

Tri-Pepper Chicken infuses the perfect blend of pink, green and black peppercorns with basil, cilantro, and salt into a succulent 100% chicken breast patty. Coated in golden, peppered breadcrumbs, every bite is met with a burst of peppery flavour that will tantalise your tastebuds and send your endorphins running.

To determine the suitability of the flavour profile for the Singapore market, the Tri-Pepper Chicken has undergone test-runs since 2019. Met with high praise when trialled last year, the new Tri-Pepper Chicken is best paired with English cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and Subway’s signature mayonnaise to bring out its peppery flavours.

Taking the already famous Subway cookies up a notch, the year-end favourite, Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie, returns. Having sold out in stores last year, the whole family can look forward to a minty aftertaste and sweet bite from the scattered chocolate chips. This pleasant yet fresh decadence pairs perfectly with the Tri-Pepper Chicken, cooling you down with chewy sweetness after the euphoric heat from the sub.

With an increasing paradigm shift for wellness foods, Subway’s first-ever plant-based protein, leveraging Nestle’s Harvest Gourmet Schnitzel, caters to the growing consumer interest and awareness in plant-based products. The Plant-Based Chicken Schnitzel is packed with protein and fibre and serves as a delicious alternative to chicken for those on plant-based diets, with meat allergies, or just seeking new flavours. Cooked to be crispy on the outside with a tender and juicy filling, the Plant-Based Chicken Schnitzel sub is best paired with lettuce, tomato, sweet corn, and Subway’s signature spicy mayonnaise sauce.

“At Subway, we are always innovating to ensure we bring more choices for our guests that are fresh yet hearty. With plant-based diets on the rise, it is only natural for us to introduce an option to guests via our all-new Plant-Based Chicken Schnitzel alongside something that will be packed with flavours for meat lovers through the Tri-Pepper Chicken. The timing is perfect, especially with the year-end season and dining-in slowly reopening so that friends and family can feast together no matter their dietary preferences. Additionally, the return of the favourite Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie rounds the year well to balance the flavours,” said Samad Mohd Shariff, Country Director, Subway, South East Asia.
