Curated Culture has launched a new fizzy drink in Singapore’s convenience stores. The Curated Culture Refresh range starts with Lychee and Calamansi flavours at 7-Eleven, featuring a zero-sugar prebiotic soda with 5g of acacia fibre in each can.
The timing of the launch stands out because of its price. Selected 7-Eleven stores will offer monthly S$1 promotions on Refresh until February 2027, starting with Lychee from 23 September to 6 October 2026.
What is Curated Culture Refresh?

Refresh is a carbonated prebiotic soda created in Singapore by food scientists at the National University of Singapore. Each 245ml can has 5g of Fibregum, a soluble fibre from acacia gum, with zero sugar and 30 calories.
If you have noticed more fibre-focused drinks overseas, Refresh offers a local twist. Rather than just using common cola, berry, or citrus flavours, Curated Culture is focusing on tastes popular in Singapore and other parts of Asia.
The first flavours are Lychee and Calamansi. Lychee has a floral, sweet taste, while Calamansi adds a bright citrus note. Peach and Mango will be released later.
The soda uses xylitol instead of sugar for sweetness. It is also caffeine-free, vegan, JAKIM Halal-certified, and contains no artificial flavourings or preservatives, according to the product information.
Why put prebiotic fibre in a soft drink?
The idea behind prebiotics is simple. Unlike probiotics, which have live microorganisms, prebiotic fibre feeds the good bacteria already in your gut.
Curated Culture includes 5g of Fibregum in every can, making a fibre ingredient usually found in supplements part of a fizzy drink you can enjoy every day.

This does not mean soda can replace a balanced diet, but it does make fibre a key feature of the drink instead of just an extra.
The company says Refresh fits into its wider focus on food science and everyday wellness. Curated Culture began in 2021 after founders Christian Eviston-Putsch, Shermaine Heng, and Sew Shu Wen met at NUS.
Refresh Lychee at 7-Eleven is S$1 until 6 October

The main reason to try the drink during its launch is the special promotion.
The Refresh Lychee offer at 7-Eleven runs from 23 September to 6 October 2026, with participating stores selling it for S$1. The Calamansi promotion follows from 21 October to 6 November.

These promotions are part of a series of monthly S$1 deals that will run until February 2027. More flavours are expected to be included in future promotions.
The Curated Culture $1 deal at 7-Eleven is only at selected outlets, and availability may vary by store. When not on promotion, Refresh Lychee and Calamansi cost between S$2.50 and S$3 per 245ml can.
This means the introductory price is much lower than the usual retail price, which is helpful if you just want to try a fibre-added soda out of curiosity.
Where can you buy Refresh in Singapore?
Refresh began appearing in 7-Eleven stores across Singapore from 1 September 2026.
Currently, the two launch flavours are:
- Lychee
- Calamansi
Peach and Mango will be available in the coming months. All four flavours can be bought in-store only at 7-Eleven until February 2027.

The brand suggests serving Refresh chilled, either by itself or with a meal. Each can is a single 245ml serving.
7-Eleven’s website still has a deals and promotions section, but the Refresh promotion did not appear in the search results during our check.
Refresh joins Curated Culture’s growing drinks range
Refresh is not the first functional drink from Curated Culture.
The Singapore-based company also sells Recover, a non-carbonated iced tea with BCAAs, electrolytes, and postbiotics, and Relax, an iced tea with live probiotics and ashwagandha root extract. Refresh is their carbonated drink focused on prebiotic fibre.
This matters because Refresh is meant to be more like a regular soft drink you can pick up at a convenience store. You can grab a chilled can from 7-Eleven instead of seeing it as a special wellness product.
For shoppers in Singapore, the mix of familiar flavours, a mainstream convenience-store launch, and the ongoing S$1 promotion could make Refresh an easy way to try prebiotic drinks. The first deal is already on, with Lychee available at participating stores for S$1 until 6 October 2026.
