Luckin Coffee’s Pandan Coconut Latte returns to Singapore on 13 August 2026, exactly a year after it first appeared. This time, its comeback is part of another collaboration with Duolingo, featuring a new pastry, limited-edition merchandise, and another coconut-based coffee arriving later in August.

For those who missed it the first time, this is another chance to try Luckin Coffee’s take on the familiar Southeast Asian pandan and coconut combination. The bigger surprise may be the new Coconut Americano joining the menu on 27 August.

Here are the important dates, drinks and collectibles to know about before heading down.

Pandan Coconut Latte returns to Singapore on 13 August

A vibrant promo image shows a Luckin Coffee Pandan Coconut Latte, Luckin Coffee and Duolingo logos, and “Missed it last time?”.

The returning Pandan Coconut Latte combines pandan, a coconut milk beverage made with fresh coconut juice, and espresso.

Pandan gives the drink its distinctive green colour and familiar floral aroma, while the coconut component adds richness before being balanced by coffee.

This flavour combination feels familiar in Singapore, where pandan and coconut appear in kaya, traditional kueh, cakes, and desserts. Combining both in coffee creates an interesting crossover between local flavours and the modern flavoured-latte trend.

Luckin Coffee first introduced the Pandan Coconut Latte in Singapore a year ago. Its return on 13 August also marks the latest chapter of the coffee chain’s collaboration with language-learning app Duolingo.

Returning drinks have one advantage over new seasonal flavours. Those who enjoyed it before know what to expect, while those who missed it get another chance to see what the fuss was about.

A new Melony Mochi Puff launches on the same day

Coffee is not the only item arriving on 13 August.

Luckin Coffee is also introducing a limited-edition Melony Mochi Puff designed as a sweet pairing for the drinks.

An iced Coconut Americano from Luckin Coffee sits beside Duolingo characters and bright text, promoting a Pandan Coconut Latte collab.

The pastry combines a light puff-style shell with chewy mochi, vanilla custard, and melon flavour. This mix of crisp pastry, soft mochi, and creamy filling makes it quite different from a conventional cream puff.

The Melony Mochi Puff is available while stocks last, so availability may vary between outlets during the promotion.

Coconut Americano joins Luckin Coffee on 27 August

A more unusual addition arrives two weeks later.

From 27 August, Luckin Coffee Singapore will launch its new Coconut Americano as part of the brand’s 150KCAL Lab Series.

Two Luckin Coffee drinks, including Pandan Coconut Latte Singapore edition, with cartoon characters and Duolingo owl, promote a sticker set giveaway on a vibrant blue background.

Instead of using coconut mainly to create a creamy latte, the Coconut Americano combines 100 per cent coconut juice with a coffee base made from 100 per cent Arabica beans.

According to Luckin Coffee, each cup contains the equivalent of one whole medium-sized coconut and comes in at under 150 calories.

This creates a different proposition from the returning Pandan Coconut Latte. The latter offers a richer coffee experience, while the Coconut Americano is lighter and more refreshing.

Coconut water or juice paired with espresso may sound unusual to some, but it suits Singapore’s climate. Cold coffee works well as an afternoon drink, and adding coconut offers a tropical alternative to milk-based iced coffees.

Those curious will have to wait until 27 August instead of assuming both coconut drinks launch together.

Duolingo’s Cheeky Duo Mug costs $15.80 as a bundle

Two green owl mugs and two bubble tea cups sit on a table by a window, with $15.80 and Luckin Coffee x Duolingo logos below.

For Duolingo fans, the collaboration also includes several themed collectibles.

The most eye-catching is the LUCKIN COFFEE × DUOLINGO Cheeky Duo Mug, styled after Duolingo’s familiar green owl mascot.

It will be available from 13 August as part of a $15.80 bundle with two selected drinks. The mug is available while stocks last.

There will also be Duolingo-themed paper bags and cup sleeves during the campaign.

Since character collaborations and limited café merchandise attract collectors quickly, anyone after the mug should check availability early.

A Duolingo sticker set arrives on 19 August

There is another collectible to watch if you do not need another mug at home.

From 19 August, customers purchasing any two drinks in a single transaction can receive the LUCKIN COFFEE × DUOLINGO 1st Anniversary Sticker Set.

Like the mug, the sticker set will be available while stocks last.

The staggered dates are worth remembering since not everything launches on 13 August.

Here is the schedule at a glance:

  • 13 August 2026: Pandan Coconut Latte returns
  • 13 August 2026: Melony Mochi Puff launches
  • 13 August 2026: Cheeky Duo Mug bundle available for $15.80 with two selected drinks
  • 19 August 2026: 1st Anniversary Sticker Set available with any two drinks
  • 27 August 2026: Coconut Americano launches

Luckin Coffee now has more than 80 stores in Singapore

Luckin Coffee entered Singapore in 2023, which was also the Chinese coffee chain’s first overseas market.

It has since expanded to more than 80 stores across Singapore, making the new drinks and collaboration easier to find than in the brand’s earlier days here.

The company largely operates around a mobile-first ordering model, so customers can check nearby stores and place their orders through Luckin Coffee’s usual ordering platform.

However, limited merchandise and promotional food items depend on stock availability, so having a Luckin outlet nearby does not guarantee every promotional item will be available.

What to know before heading to Luckin Coffee

For most coffee drinkers, the main reason to follow this campaign is the return of the Pandan Coconut Latte and the arrival of the Coconut Americano.

They approach coconut coffee in two different ways. One combines familiar Southeast Asian pandan and coconut flavours with espresso, while the other pairs coconut juice directly with Arabica coffee for a lighter option.

Duolingo fans have a little more to plan around, particularly with the merchandise appearing on different dates.

If you missed the Pandan Coconut Latte last year, it returns on 13 August. Those curious about Luckin Coffee’s newest creation should mark 27 August, when the Coconut Americano joins the Singapore menu.
