Magnum is shrinking its familiar chocolate-coated ice cream experience into something you can eat in a few bites. Launching across Singapore in August 2026, the new Magnum Bonbon comes in two flavours inspired by existing Magnum favourites: White Chocolate & Cookies and Salted Caramel & Almond.

Each Bonbon is a small bite that mixes ice cream, sauce, crunchy bits, and a chocolate shell, instead of coming on a stick. Both flavours cost S$15.18 per pint. There is also a promotion: spend at least S$39 on Magnum ice cream and get a Magnum Foldable Chair.

What is different about the new Magnum Bonbon?

Magnum is famous for its ice cream bars with a thick chocolate shell that cracks when you bite into it. Magnum Bonbon uses the same idea but offers it as small, bite-sized pieces you can eat straight from a tub.

Magnum says this is the first time they have put their signature mix of cracking chocolate, ice cream, sauce, and crunchy toppings into a smaller, bite-sized format.

This makes Bonbons handy for times when a whole ice cream bar is too much. You can eat just one or two pieces, share a tub with friends, or keep it in the freezer for a quick post-dinner dessert.

It also changes how you can share Magnum. While a regular Magnum bar is usually for one person, a tub of Bonbons is easy to share, though you can always keep it all for yourself if you want.

Two flavours are launching in Singapore

Instead of creating totally new flavours, Magnum chose to base its first two Bonbons on flavours people already know from the brand.

Magnum White Chocolate & Cookies Bonbon

The White Chocolate & Cookies Bonbon has creamy panna ice cream with swirls of black cookie sauce.

Each piece is covered in Magnum’s signature white chocolate and topped with crunchy cookie biscuit pieces.

This combination highlights different textures. Inside, there is creamy ice cream and sauce, while the outside has a firm chocolate shell and a crunchy biscuit layer.

This flavour will probably appeal to people who like cookies-and-cream desserts or already enjoy Magnum’s White Chocolate & Cookies.

Magnum Salted Caramel & Almond Bonbon

The Salted Caramel & Almond Bonbon offers something a bit different.

Inside, you’ll find vanilla ice cream mixed with salted caramel sauce. The outside is coated in Magnum’s Belgian chocolate with roasted almond pieces in the shell.

Compared to the cookie flavour, this one focuses on the classic mix of chocolate, caramel, and nuts.

Both flavours keep the main idea of a Magnum bar, the contrast between a chocolate shell and soft ice cream inside, but now in a smaller, bite-sized form.

How much does Magnum Bonbon cost in Singapore?

Magnum Bonbon costs S$15.18 per pint in Singapore.

The two launch flavours are:

  • Magnum White Chocolate & Cookies Bonbon, S$15.18 per pint
  • Magnum Salted Caramel & Almond Bonbon, S$15.18 per pint

The Bonbons will be available across Singapore starting in August 2026.

Magnum has not shared a list of which stores will carry the Bonbons, so it’s best to check your usual supermarket or online grocery store for availability.

There is also a Magnum Foldable Chair promotion

Magnum is also offering a branded foldable chair as part of a promotion with the Bonbon launch.

If you spend at least S$39 on Magnum ice cream at participating stores, you can redeem a Magnum Foldable Chair while stocks last.

Participating retailers listed by Magnum include:

  • FairPrice
  • Cold Storage
  • Sheng Siong
  • Prime
  • Giant
  • Major e-commerce retailers

The chair is a portable outdoor seat and comes with a matching carry bag, according to Magnum’s promotional materials.

For families, picnics, and outdoor events, the chair could be the most useful part of the promotion, but getting one depends on availability.

Magnum has not given an end date for the promotion. It will run while stocks last.

Who might find the bite-sized useful?

Bonbon-style frozen desserts are simple, but turning Magnum into individual pieces gives people more options.

If you want a small dessert, you can just eat one piece instead of opening a whole ice cream bar. Families can share a tub at the table, and hosts have an easy freezer dessert that needs little or no prep—maybe just a small plate.

It’s also easier to have just a taste after a meal, without committing to a whole dessert.

This flexibility is really what the new Magnum Bonbon is about. The flavours and ingredients are familiar to Magnum fans, but now you can enjoy them in new ways and at different times.

There is one thing to keep in mind with the tub format. Unlike wrapped bars, Bonbons need to stay frozen between servings, so they are best kept as a treat at home rather than something to take out for long periods.

What to know before buying Magnum Bonbon in Singapore

The launch of Magnum Bonbon in Singapore is more about offering a new way to enjoy a classic ice cream, rather than introducing unusual new flavours.

White Chocolate & Cookies is the sweeter, cookie-and-cream choice, while Salted Caramel & Almond mixes vanilla ice cream, caramel, chocolate, and roasted almonds.

Both flavours cost S$15.18 per pint and will be available across Singapore in August 2026.

If you often buy Magnum, it may be worth checking out the S$39 foldable-chair promotion before making a bigger purchase, since it’s only available while stocks last.

For everyone else, the new Bonbon format is the main thing to look out for. Magnum’s famous chocolate crack is now available in a tub of small, shareable bites.
