Designed by Studio HBA, Café Oriental has a warm and inviting ambience that pays homage to traditional hawker centres. The space includes tiled floor patterns, sleek stainless steel counters, and lush greenery, creating an immersive and engaging atmosphere.

Chef Danny Bong’s Contemporary Take on Classics

Chef Danny Bong’s menu offers a modern take on Singapore’s classic dishes. One standout dish is the CEO Laksa, featuring poached tiger prawns and squid-ink fish noodles in a flavorful soya milk gravy. Another highlight is the Café Oriental Hainanese Chicken Rice, which incorporates a rich collagen abalone chicken stock for a unique twist on the beloved classic.

Don’t forget to check out the XO Fish Noodles Soup, which comes with a teapot of brandy-infused broth poured over thick rice noodles and crispy Arctic halibut fillets. Another must-try is the Golden Collagen Seafood Pao Fan, featuring abalone, scallops, clams, and fish fillets in a pumpkin conpoy soup. If you’re in the mood for something spicy, you’ll love Silk Road Kitchen’s Ma Po Tofu, with silken tofu cooked with minced pork in a fiery mala sauce, accompanied by a hearty Chinese soup of the day.
