A New Twist on Thai Cuisine

Jungle is not your typical Thai restaurant. Instead of offering standard fare, it delves deeply into Thailand’s rich culinary heritage, presenting a curated selection of regional dishes. Each dish is crafted with carefully sourced ingredients, hand-pounded curry pastes, and expert fire-glazed cooking.

Inspired by Bangkok’s vibrant late-night spots and bustling streets, Jungle offers a relaxed yet refined dining atmosphere. The open-fire kitchen and a soundtrack of classic funk and soul enhance the lively ambiance, creating a memorable dining experience.

A cozy, empty restaurant interior with wooden tables and chairs, green plants, framed pictures on the walls, and large windows letting in natural light.

A Commitment to Quality

Quality is at the heart of Jungle’s culinary offerings. The menu features regional Thai dishes brought to life with artisanal processes and top-notch ingredients. The concise, one-page menu packs a punch with its diverse selections.

  • Pomelo-Lemongrass Salad: This light and refreshing dish features dried shrimp, homemade candied coconut, and Thai pomelo, delivering a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors.
  • Northern Duck Laab: A rare find outside rural Northern Thailand, this dish combines a robust mix of herbs, spices, and chilies for a layered and flavorful experience.

The Grill: Jungle’s Highlight

Left: Various ingredients and skewers of food on a clay stove with glowing charcoal. Right: Skewers grilling over an open flame on a grill.

Jungle’s grill section is the star of the show, featuring standout dishes like:

  • Southern Style Charcoal Grilled Chicken: A succulent take on Gai Golae, this dish is slow-cooked over hot embers and topped with a hand-pounded red curry glaze made from scratch.
  • Sugarcane Smoked Pork Jowl: Tender pork jowl smoked with lychee wood and sugarcane, then finished over charcoal, offering sweet, smoky, and umami flavors.
  • Southern Crab Yellow Curry: A crowd favorite, this seafood dish showcases Jungle’s rotating curry offerings, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.

Catering to All Dietary Preferences

Vegetarians are in for a treat at Jungle. Though they currently need to book ahead, the team prepares vegetarian sauces and ferments from scratch. Plans are underway to permanently include vegetarian options on the menu soon.

Sweet Endings and Drink Pairings

No meal at Jungle is complete without dessert. The Grilled Banana Cake with Gula Melaka caramel and coconut ice cream is a decadent finish, blending warm caramelized banana with creamy coconut ice cream.

To complement the exquisite food, Jungle offers a selection of homemade cocktails, a curated low-intervention wine program, and an expanding list of sakes and beers.

Visit Jungle

Experience the vibrant flavors and laid-back charm of Jungle at Ann Siang Hill. Whether you’re a fan of Thai cuisine or looking for a new dining adventure, Jungle promises an unforgettable culinary journey.
