This October, PastaMania is celebrating World Pasta Day with a week dedicated to pasta lovers. Enjoy a 1-for-1 pasta promotion and get an exclusive Tomato Plushie. Discover the story of this beloved homegrown chain, which began in 1998 and has served over 48 million plates of pasta.

Is there any dish more universally comforting than a well-made plate of pasta? It’s the ultimate food hug, a meal that brings families and friends together around the table. This October, that simple joy takes centre stage as we celebrate World Pasta Day on the 25th. And Singapore’s very own homegrown hero, PastaMania, is making sure we all get to join the party with a week of fantastic offers.

A Week of Pasta Promotions

PastaMania is rolling out the red carpet for pasta lovers with not one, but two great reasons to visit.

First up is the main event, the 1-for-1 Pasta Promotion. From Monday, 21st October, to Thursday, 24th October 2025, you can enjoy one pasta dish completely free with every one you purchase. This deal is valid for both dine-in and takeaway, though do note it’s only available until 5 pm daily. It’s the perfect excuse to call up a friend or treat a family member to a shared pasta moment without stretching your wallet.

Three bowls of Singapore pasta—creamy penne, seafood spaghetti, and shrimp-mussel spaghetti—sit on a textured table. 1-for-1 promo!.

Then, as the weekend hits, the celebration continues with a delightful gift. On World Pasta Day itself, Saturday, 25th October, and Sunday, 26th October, diners who spend $40 or more in a single receipt will receive an exclusive PastaMania Tomato Plushie Keychain. It’s a cute, quirky keepsake that’s sure to bring a smile to any pasta enthusiast’s face.

The PastaMania Story: From Scotts to Singapore and Beyond

It’s easy to forget that this familiar chain is a true Singaporean success story. The PastaMania journey began back in 1998, not in a fancy restaurant, but in a humble food court outlet at Scotts Shopping Centre. Their mission was simple but powerful: to bring great-tasting pasta to everyone at everyday prices.

Over two decades later, that mission has clearly resonated. PastaMania has grown into Singapore’s largest homegrown Italian chain. With 14 outlets locally and a growing presence in places like the Middle East, the Maldives, and Brunei, its reach is impressive. Despite this incredible growth, the core belief remains unchanged: that good, hearty food should be accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Some Fun Pasta Facts to Share

What’s a celebration without a few fun facts to share with your dining companions? PastaMania has some interesting tidbits.

You might not know that PastaMania has its very own tomato farm in Parma, Italy. The farm is massive, spanning an area equivalent to 15 football fields. The tomatoes are grown, handpicked, and processed there to help ensure consistency in their sauces across all their outlets.

Every plate of pasta you order is freshly cooked, typically ready within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering. To date, PastaMania has served more than 48 million plates of pasta. That’s a lot of twirling forks.

And while there are over 350 known pasta shapes in Italy, only a fraction, like the familiar spaghetti, penne, and fusilli, tend to become global favourites.

So, this World Pasta Day, why not gather your loved ones and head down to PastaMania? It’s a chance to enjoy a delicious, affordable meal, maybe snag a cute plushie, and be part of a Singaporean dining tradition. It’s a celebration of the simple, connecting power of pasta, a dish that truly brings people together.

Which pasta dish will you be sharing?
