What makes a mooncake irresistible, the flavour or the feel? This year, Swensen’s doubles down on both. The beloved snowskin ice cream mooncakes return in Singapore with a softer, bouncier mochi skin and two playful newcomers. If you enjoy sticky, chewy textures with bold flavours, this line-up is designed for you.

What’s new for Mid-Autumn in Singapore

Two limited-time creations lead the conversation. Chempedak with Crumble blends tropical, fragrant chempedak ice cream with buttery crumble bits, so you get soft mochi, creamy centre, then a gentle crunch. Pistachio Kunafa adds nutty depth and crisp kataifi flakes, wrapped in chocolate mochi snowskin, a nod to the Dubai-loved chocolate trend.

A hand splits a chocolate snowskin mochi ice cream mooncake, exposing its creamy center. Colorful mooncakes sit on Swensen’s stands.

Chempedak with Crumble, $13.50 per piece, is a tropical and creamy treat with a pleasant crunch.
Pistachio Kunafa, $16 per piece, featuring a pistachio-rich filling, crisp kataifi, and chocolate mochi snowskin.

Mao Shan Wang, $16 per piece, made with 100% premium MSW purée, rich and intense.
Durian King (D24), $13.50 per piece, aromatic and creamy for durian mooncake fans.
Sticky Chewy Chocolate, $13.50 per piece, is a crowd favourite that lives up to its name.
Cookies ‘N’ Cream, $13.50 per piece, studded with cookie pieces for extra texture.

Prices, promos and where to buy in Singapore

The six flavours are available now until 6 October 2025 at all Swensen’s and Earle Swensen’s outlets, on the Swensen’s e-Store, and via GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo. Early Bird Specials run from 10 August to 21 September 2025 with 20% off for members, followed by 15% off from 22 September to 6 October. A regular set of four starts from $40 during early bird, and you can upgrade to premium flavours, Mao Shan Wang or Pistachio Kunafa, at $2 more per piece. Prices include GST. Swensen’s is Halal-certified, making it easier to cater to mixed groups.

Serving tips for snowskin ice cream mooncakes

Give each piece 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature before serving. The mochi snowskin softens, the ice cream blooms, and the textures line up beautifully. Slice with a warmed knife for neat wedges. Pair lighter flavours with green tea and reserve the durian mooncake duo for the grand finish.

How to choose your flavour

Pick Chempedak with Crumble if you like tropical fruit with a playful crunch. Choose Pistachio Kunafa when you want something nutty and trend-led. Mao Shan Wang is the showstopper for durian lovers, while Durian King (D24) offers a gentler entry. Sticky Chewy Chocolate pleases all ages, and Cookies ‘N’ Cream is the safe bet for family gatherings.

Gifting ideas for Mid-Autumn

For colleagues or clients, mix classics with a premium piece for a small moment of theatre when unboxing. For family, create a tasting flight, serve halves or quarters, and vote for favourites. If you are hosting, keep an extra box in the freezer for unexpected guests; snowskin stores well and serves quickly.

Conclusion

Swensen’s mooncakes make Mid-Autumn in Singapore easy, festive and fun. The mochi snowskin texture is softer, the flavours range from familiar to adventurous, and the price points are friendly with member savings. Order early, thaw properly, and enjoy a sweet, snowskin ice cream moment with the people who matter most. Which flavour are you trying first?
