Our Tampines Hub (OTH), Singapore’s first and largest integrated community and lifestyle hub, brought the Tampines community together to usher in the New Year. 5,000 residents and visitors gathered at the OTH Town Square for a vibrant New Year’s Eve celebration filled with music, dance and shared moments of joy.


Tampines Together: The Countdown Concert

It transformed the heart of Tampines into a lively communal space, celebrating the district’s strong spirit of togetherness. The evening featured captivating performances by homegrown performers Boon Hui Lu, Allan Moo, John Klass, Maia Lee, and percussion ensemble ─ Oneida Batuke. An Interest Group under the Tampines East Youth Network, Oneida Batuke comprises talented Tampines residents with a shared passion for rhythm and performance. Through their dynamic blend of performance styles, their showcase reflected Singapore’s rich multicultural identity, making the celebration truly by residents, for residents.

Advisers of Tampines GRC, Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Mr Baey Yam Keng, Dr Charlene Chen and Mr Desmond Choo, joined residents at the event, exchanging New Year greetings and well-wishes as the community gathered to mark the start of 2026. The evening culminated in a collective countdown and spectacular fireworks display, as families, friends and neighbours welcomed the New Year.
Festivities Beyond the Countdown

The celebrations extended over two days, from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, featuring a diverse lineup of performances, cultural showcases, and interactive workshops across OTH. Activities ranged from hands-on craft and upcycling workshops to culinary classes, e-sports experiences, family-friendly activities, and live music performances, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
As part of the festivities, the interactive Resolution Wall at OTH Festive Walk South invited residents to pen their hopes and wishes for the year ahead. Messages were displayed on screen, creating a shared space of reflection and optimism as the community steps into the New Year together.
Family-Friendly Fun for All Ages

Fitness Bonanza 2026 and Play2Gather also brought residents of all ages together through energetic physical challenges and digital gameplay, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition across generations. Residents enjoyed a variety of exercise try-outs, including step-aerobics, HIIT, Piloxing, Zumba, Afro, Hip Hop, and Cardio Dance classes. At Play2Gather, families explored immersive e-sports, simulators, and gaming experiences, making it a fun-filled celebration for all ages.
Young visitors also delighted in activities at Festive Walk East, featuring Pororo Singapore x OTH Kids Club experiences such as colouring workshops, bookmark-making sessions and a Pororo-themed bouncy castle.
The celebrations highlighted OTH’s role as a vibrant hub that brings people together and strengthens connections among residents and the wider community. By creating a welcoming space for shared experiences, OTH continues to foster a strong sense of belonging among Singaporeans in Tampines.
