Looking for a place to enjoy National Day fireworks, live music, and a free Tiger Beer on 9 August 2026?
Tiger Beer is marking Singapore’s 61st birthday with National Day events all over the island. Activities will take place at Kampong Bugis, along the Singapore River, in Sengkang, and at many food courts, bars, and supermarkets in the heartlands.
Tiger Beer, which started in Singapore in 1932, wants to bring this year’s celebrations closer to local communities. Some events are free, while others need advance booking or a qualifying purchase.
Only guests aged 18 and above can redeem or receive beer, while stocks last. Terms and conditions apply. Please drink responsibly.
Here are six Tiger Beer National Day experiences you should check out.
Tiger Beer National Day at Kampong Bugis
The main Tiger Beer National Day celebration happens at Kampong Bugis, right next to Kallang Riverside Park.
The event runs from 5pm to 9pm on 9 August 2026 at a waterfront spot near Kallang Basin. Visitors can soak in the festive mood and watch the National Day fireworks.
Entry is free and first-come, first-served. When you arrive, you can get a stamp to redeem one free Tiger Beer, while stocks last.
There will also be a live set by HeavyItch, a Singapore DJ duo who play rare Asian grooves, funk-soul, and Nanyang disco.
Date: 9 August 2026
Time: 5pm to 9pm
Venue: 66 Kampong Bugis, Singapore 338987
Admission: Free, first-come, first-served
Collect a Tiger National Day Fun Pack
The first 1,000 guests at Kampong Bugis who show their Drinkies membership in the Drinkies app will get a Tiger National Day Fun Pack.
Each pack is made for an outdoor evening and includes a custom picnic mat, hand fan, cooling wipes, mosquito patches, and temporary tattoos.
It’s a handy set for families and groups who want to spend a few hours by the water. The picnic mat helps you settle in before the fireworks, and the fan and wipes are useful for Singapore’s warm evenings.
Arrive early, as Fun Packs are only for the first 1,000 eligible Drinkies members.

Watch the Fireworks From a Tiger Bumboat
One of this year’s most unique National Day events is the exclusive Tiger Bumboat Experience.
Guests will cruise along the Singapore River into the Kallang Basin, enjoying views of the National Day fireworks. There’s also an onboard DJ and a free cold Tiger Beer for eligible adults.
This is a good option if you want to skip the crowds and watch the fireworks from the water instead of a busy roadside.
Booking details will be shared on Tiger Beer Singapore’s Instagram closer to National Day. Ticket price, capacity, and departure point haven’t been announced yet, so keep an eye out for updates.
Enjoy the Tiger Singapore Flyer Experience
Tiger Beer is also hosting an exclusive Singapore Flyer experience on 9 August.
Guests can step into a private Tiger capsule to enjoy panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline and the National Day fireworks. Eligible adults will also get a complimentary Tiger Beer.
The Singapore Flyer offers a different vibe from the bumboat. The capsule is elevated and enclosed, while the bumboat puts you right by the river and the action.
Details on how to book will be posted on Tiger Beer Singapore’s Instagram. Spots are likely to be limited, so check for updates instead of waiting until National Day.
Join the Sengkang National Day Watch Party
If you live in the north-east, you can join the celebration closer to home at Sengkang Grand Mall.
There’s a free community watch party from 6pm to 9pm near the mall’s main entrance. You can watch the National Day Parade live with neighbours, family, and friends, all without heading into the city.
Eligible adults can get a stamp to redeem a free Tiger Beer, while stocks last.
Entry is free and first-come, first-served. It’s a convenient option for Sengkang and Punggol residents who want a lively celebration without the big crowds at Marina Bay or Kallang.
Get Complimentary Tiger Beer at 61 Locations
Around 8.10pm, when the National Day fireworks begin, adults at 61 participating bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and food courts can enjoy a free Tiger pint bottle.
Participating places include The Tuckshop at Guillemard Road, Al Capone’s at Kallang Wave Mall, Koufu at Punggol Field, S-11 at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 and Broadway Food Centre at Hougang Avenue 4.
