Every individual thread sewed onto PAPINEE’s Panthera the Lion is a piece of beautiful artwork. Sold under PAPINEE’s Animalia Storytelling Kit, the Lion Storytelling Kit tells an imaginative story of the colourful Kenya. Packed inside this box are the works of the creatives from Hong Kong, Turkey and Italy. Thanks to PAPINEE Hong Kong, Kayden got a chance to work with one of the top luxury toy brand. The best way to share how much my boy and myself love this product is the capture the moments of my boy with Panthera.

PAPINEE is a luxury brand with the commitment to give back to the society. Providing exceptionally crafted toys, books and accessories, PAPINEE is an Art-Toy collective for adults and children to bond together. The company wants to bring hope, inspiration and imagination to children in need around the world. Therefore, whenever an Animalia Storytelling Kit is sold, a PAPINEE Inspire Coloring Kit will be given to a disadvantage child.  This is their social mission statement, ‘Give Together‘.

So. what is inside the turquoise coloured monogram box? There are 10 pieces of storytelling cards, a nicely wrapped up board book, the soft toy protagonist Lion and a lovely “Thank You” card from Team PAPINEE. With up to seven different animals storytelling kit, every story will tell a different and exciting fairy tale.

When holding Panthera the Lion, I can feel the premium material used for this soft and huggable toy. Every parents and young children should be familiar with board books. These are books made out of cardboards so that they can sustain wear and tear better. After telling the story to a child, the adult can ask questions which are found behind each storytelling cards. These questions are categorised under different ages and here is where bonding happens.

I found one of the quirkiest little spots in Joo Chiat 👀

Heartware Store & Gallery is currently hosting Japanese artist Choibusu’s first solo exhibition in Singapore, featuring 500+ handmade “ugly-cute” keychains. Think sushi, snails, wisdom teeth and all sorts of wonderfully weird characters. 😂

There are also vintage Japanese toys, 3D-printed lamps, colourful merch and plenty of random treasures to discover.
