Fans of the Despicable Me and Minions franchises can look forward to immersive rides, themed dining, and exclusive Minion merchandise. The excitement kicked off with a record-breaking Minion Walk—a prelude to what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
The Largest Minion Walk in Singapore
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and Universal Studios Singapore hosted the Largest Minion Walk in Singapore on 12 February 2025 to celebrate the upcoming launch. 1,078 staff members dressed in yellow Minion T-shirts joined 24 Minions, including fan favourites Bob, Stuart, and Kevin, as they paraded towards Minion Land.
Adding a traditional touch of prosperity, Ms Lee Shi Ruh, President of RWS, performed a pineapple rolling ceremony at Minion Land’s entrance—symbolising luck and success. The Singapore Book of Records officially recognised the event, setting the stage for the grand opening just two days later.
