The Christmas Atelier 2026 is starting its festive season before the market doors even open. A specially dressed MRT train is now running on the Downtown Line until 14 November, giving commuters a preview of the event and a chance to collect four limited-edition Christmas keepsakes before the three-day market arrives at Marina Bay Sands from 12 to 14 November.

For Singapore shoppers, the appeal is straightforward: more than 130 founder-led artisanal brands, festive installations, hands-on activities, and ticket prices starting from $6 under the Early Bird offer, while stocks last.

Why The Christmas Atelier 2026 starts on the Downtown Line

The biggest new element this year is outside the convention hall.

Running from 14 October to 14 November, The Christmas Atelier MRT train turns part of the Downtown Line into a moving teaser for the event. The train carries festive graphics based on this year’s “Delivering Christmas Magic” theme and heads towards Bayfront MRT Station, which provides direct access to Marina Bay Sands.

There is also a collectible element. The campaign introduces four hanging sticker packs, with a new design appearing every Friday. The four designs are a Christmas Tree, Christmas Stocking, Wreath and Gift Tag.

Each hanger can be decorated with the accompanying stickers. Commuters who collect and complete all four can bring them to The Christmas Atelier from 12 to 14 November to redeem a special goodie bag. Redemptions are limited to the first 20 guests each day, while stocks last, and the goodie bag includes a one-day admission pass.

That gives the Downtown Line Christmas train a purpose beyond festive decoration. It links an everyday commute with the market itself and gives regular train users a small reason to look out for the decorated carriage over the next few weeks.

More than 130 brands are heading to Marina Bay Sands.

Once the market opens, shopping remains the main draw.

The eighth edition will bring together more than 130 artisanal and founder-led brands spanning fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home and gourmet products. Named participants include Bynd Artisan, House of Holly, TRIA the Label, RÓA, Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie, Clumzy and Vetreska.

Almost half of the participating brands are returning, while the rest include new makers and creators joining the event for the first time.

That mix should matter to shoppers who use a Singapore Christmas market to find gifts less predictable than the usual department-store options. The event is also moving beyond stalls, with large festive installations, photo opportunities, workshops, and other hands-on activities built around the “Delivering Christmas Magic” theme.

The Christmas Atelier tickets start from $6

The announced Early Bird pricing starts at $6, though the organiser says these rates are available only while stocks last.

The Christmas Atelier tickets are split into three categories:

  • 1-Day Pass: $6 Early Bird, $8 regular
  • 1-Day BFF Pass: $10 Early Bird, $14 regular
  • 3-Day Pass: $10 Early Bird, $14 regular

The 3-Day Pass covers all three event days. The 1-Day Pass and 1-Day BFF Pass are valid for the selected day of visit.

Ticket holders receive several additional perks. Every ticket holder can receive one complimentary Yeo’s beverage while stocks last. The first 1,000 ticket holders can also receive a $10 promotional voucher for attractions on Trip.com, subject to terms and availability.

Grab travellers can use promo code TCA2026 for 15 per cent off rides to or from the event, capped at $3 per redemption. The offer applies to standard, premium, kid-friendly, and large car services, with a limited number of redemptions available.

Drivers can redeem Marina Bay Sands parking at a capped rate of $12.84 for a single entry on the day of their visit by presenting a valid TCA ticket in PDF format. The press release states that weekday redemption is at the Concierge Counter from 8 am to 6 pm, while Saturday redemption is at the TCA Ticketing Counter.

What to know before visiting the Christmas market at Marina Bay Sands

The Christmas Atelier 2026 runs for three days at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Level 1, Hall C.

  • Thursday, 12 November 2026: 1 pm to 9 pm
  • Friday, 13 November 2026: 11 am to 9 pm
  • Saturday, 14 November 2026: 11 am to 9 pm
  • Nearest MRT: Bayfront
  • Tickets: available through The Christmas Atelier website and Trip.com

The timing also makes the event one of the earlier festive shopping stops on Singapore’s year-end calendar. If you want to start Christmas shopping before December crowds build up, Bayfront MRT access, more than 130 brands, and a short three-day run give this Marina Bay Sands market a clear reason to plan.

The useful extra this year is that the experience doesn’t start only when you enter Hall C. If you commute on the Downtown Line before 14 November, spotting The Christmas Atelier MRT train and collecting the weekly keepsakes can become part of the lead-up, especially if you plan to visit the market anyway.
