Every family will love the theatrical show “Gruffalos, Ladybirds and Other Beasts with Julia Donaldson” this Kidsfest! 2017. Played in the Victoria Theatre, there are four stories in this play. They are adapted from Julia Donaldson’s children storybooks, which are Jack and the Flumflum Tree, What the Ladybird Heard, A Squash and a Squeeze and Zog.

In this brand new interactive show, Julia Donaldson acts out her stories and sings her songs with a cast of five including guitar-playing husband Malcolm. Finally, the show surprised the audience with a fifth story of how a witty mouse outwits the scary Gruffalo.

The show encourages the children to participate and get onto the stage. Kayden went up to the stage and had fun dancing with the Gruffalo. The show runs about an hour and after that, children can get Julia Donaldson’s signature on their storybooks! It was a totally fun to watch act by the five performers.
