Berlin’s biggest consumer trade show – introduces several cool devices and Huawei is among one of the known brands to show off its latest tech as we approach the holiday season. From aesthetics to innovative chip, to 5G technology, to earphones, Huawei is taking the industry to a whole new level.
Here are the Huawei announcements at IFA 2019 you should know.
HUAWEI P30 Series Rethinks Smartphone Aesthetics
The New P30 Pro’s brings consumers two new colour schemes to choose from – Mystic Blue and Misty Lavender – giving mobile aesthetics an elegant new look. The New P30 Pro achieves a smooth transition between the glossy and matte finish by using the two textures to form a layered collision and an intense visual effect that solves the problems presented by a large glass back panel.
The new P30 Pro actualizes a great union of aesthetics and utility. The camera lens area is designed with a high-gloss surface, while the handheld area is matte to avoid fingerprints.
The New P30 Pro will be available globally from 20 September 2019 and will be making its way to Singapore in October. Exact date and pricing will be revealed on a later date.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
FreeBuds 3 represents a new intelligent sound – kickstarting a new Audio Strategy, which focuses on the premium audio market, powered by the powerful Kirin A1 chip.
The Kirin A1 chip takes a technologically advanced approach to deliver superior sonics for FreeBuds 3:
- Can process complex tasks efficiently and powerfully
- Better stability and ease of connectivity coupled with the new generation Bluetooth
- Dual-channel synchronous transmission mode uses leads to latency remains ultra-low down to 190ms
- Frequency rates of up to 356MHZ
- Precise and real-time 3A call noise reduction algorithm
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 has a Dolphin Bionic Design which is inspired by the natural curvature of a dolphin’s vocal cavity, the design focuses and modulates the sound.
The FreeBuds 3 will be launched in Singapore in October, exact date and pricing will be revealed on a later date.
HUAWEI Kirin 990 5G SoC to power HUAWEI Mate 30 Series
Kirin 990, which was unveiled with Kirin 990 (5G), is also designed to bring impressively elevated performance, energy efficiency, AI capabilities, and photography, offering better experiences to a more extensive group of 4G smartphone users. The new-generation chip features:
- Cutting-edge 7 nm+ EUV manufacturing process
- First full-frequency 5G SoC to support both non-standalone (NSA), standalone (SA) architectures, and TDD/FDD full frequency bands
- Downlink rate of 2.3 Gbit/s and an uplink peak rate of 1.25 Gbit/s
- CPU comprised of two ultra-large cores, two large cores, and four small cores, with a dominant frequency up to 2.86 GHz
- Supports Kirin Gaming+ 2.0
- 16-core Mali-G76 GPU
