Hello parents, in a flash, we are already 3 months into the new school year. When Kayden starts a new academic year, Daddy has to progress together with him too, and it is getting more effortful to keep up. Who else doesn’t have a clue on how to answer their children’s school themselves sometimes too?
Snapask shares parents’ burden
As Kayden moves up the education ladder, I find his homework getting more complex and tricky. But luckily, this year, there’s an instant tutor app Snapask to help us. Read about how we discovered this learning app last year.
Snapask encourage kids to ask questions
Rote learning and simply absorbing what the teacher says and then regurgitating all the information during exams is a thing of the past and will not work in today’s education system.
Nowadays, it is all about shaping kids to be critical thinkers and encouraging them to ask questions. But frankly, sometimes we just don’t have the time or information to help with all their questions. This is where Snapask is really useful- it is a platform where students can ask questions and have qualified tutors to guide them, anytime and anywhere.

Quick Recap of What Snapask Offers:
- “Ask a Question” – quickly get a single question clarified and answered (no time limit).
2. “Mini Class” –Discuss and learn complex questions that require more in-depth discussion (30 minutes). To start booking the session, you only need to post your question, book your preferred date and time and select the subject. Snapask will then arrange a tutor to conduct the class at the scheduled time. This is especially suitable for open-ended questions like essay writing or any questions to ask about a particular topic/ concept.
Besides asking questions, educational videos also help reinforce and expand on topics in the school syllabus. For example, for Primary School, follow Detective Kevin as he solves Science mysteries. Each video is on a topic taught in school. Kids can watch for a head starts on the topics before they are even taught in school. The first episode of each series is free. You can download the Snapask app to watch the videos. Besides that, you will get a free trial for your kid to ask questions too.
Snapask app keeps track of your child’s learning journey
One of my favourite features on Snapask is that all the questions Kayden asks and the tutor’s replies are recorded. This is very useful for managing Kayden’s learning. I use it to check the quality of the tutor’s replies and monitor whether there is a pattern in Kayden’s questions that need other intervention.
For Kayden, he likes having a written record because he can reference it whenever he encounters a similar problem and needs a reminder on how to tackle it. This helps him become a more independent learner and help consolidate his learning and foundation.
Never feel alone; you are supported.
So parents, no need to get stressed out with school homework because there’s Snapask. Prepare for the upcoming SA2/ PSLE with personalized and self-paced learning.
