Resorts World Sentosa (RWS, 圣淘沙名胜世界) is bringing a healthy twist to the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival with a new collection of mooncakes crafted from ancient grains. These mooncakes, available at Feng Shui Inn (风水廷精品粤菜馆), are part of a collection called Tapestry of Treasures (人间锦绣 月伴珍馐). Using heritage wheat that is untouched by chemicals, bleaching, or genetic modifications, these mooncakes offer more nutrition and health benefits compared to regular mooncakes.

Mooncake Collection at Feng Shui Inn

White Lotus Mooncake with Double Yolk and Sunflower Seeds (Low Sugar!) (低糖双黄葵花籽白莲蓉月饼)

This beloved classic features a nutty and crunchy twist with sunflower seeds, enhancing the floral notes of white lotus and the earthy taste of preserved yolk.

Mala Mixed Nuts Mooncake with Bak Kwa (麻辣五仁肉干月饼)

An unconventional but delightful mix of smoky, spicy, mildly sweet, and nutty flavors, this mooncake offers a symphony of tastes that come together harmoniously with its buttery crust.

Hong Kong Style Red Bean Paste Mooncake with Century Egg (港式皮蛋豆沙月饼)

Inspired by traditional Hong Kong pastries, this mooncake pairs the delicate sweetness of red bean with the robust flavor of century egg, creating a unique and addictive taste.

Jujube Mooncake with Pine Nuts (松子枣皇月饼)

Featuring jujubes, known for their healing properties and high fiber content, this mooncake blends jujubes into a smooth paste, studded with pine nuts and encased in a buttery pastry.

Durian Snow Skin Mooncakes

In addition to the ancient grain mooncakes, RWS also offers a collection of durian snow skin mooncakes, sold in boxes of eight mini pieces:

Mao Shan Wang Snow Skin (猫山王榴莲冰皮月饼)

Made with high-quality Mao Shan Wang purée and wrapped in delicate snow skin, this mooncake is a rich, bitter-sweet, and creamy treat for durian lovers.

Benefits of Ancient Grains

Ancient grains, unlike modern grains, are non-GMO and free from chemicals or pesticides. These grains, sourced from certified organic and sustainable farms in the USA, Australia, and Euro-Asia, are ground in traditional stone mills. This process preserves their nutrients, minerals, and fiber, offering anti-inflammatory properties, helping combat autoimmune diseases, and having a lower glycemic index, thus causing fewer sugar spikes when consumed.

RWS’s commitment to sustainability and excellence includes incorporating ancient grain flour in nearly all its relevant foods, such as pastries, cakes, pasta, noodles, bread, and dim sum.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.

🗳️ Don’t forget to vote tomorrow ok?
