Longing for a good cuppa oolong? Tea lovers in Singapore are in for a treat as Hong Kong’s award-winning speciality oolong tea brand, Cupfy, has announced their foray into the island republic. With a mantra of ‘less sugar, more sweetness’, the speciality tea brand is all about brewing oolong-based beverages that are suitable for sugar-conscious customers while keeping environmental sustainability in mind.

Every cup of Cupfy beverage is brewed using tea leaves sourced from its co-founder family’s plantation in Lugu Valley, the single largest tea-producing township in Nantou County, Taiwan. Cupfy’s blend of red oolong is unlike what other tea houses have to offer – delivering an aroma and taste that’s unique to the brand, perfected after multiple rounds and variations of tea fermentation and roasting methods for that distinct, signature blend.

What’s more, Cupfy also ensures that the harvesting, from tea picking, fermentation, rolling and baking are strictly supervised, so that only the best quality tea is served to customers. Apart from its signature red oolong, customers can also enjoy a delectable selection of drinks made with golden oolong, Tie Guan Yin, or jasmine green tea, as well as cold brew coffee.

Cupfy’s tea isn’t the only star of the show. The brand prides itself on the use of its in-house ingredients and toppings, such as taro puree, taro balls, grass, Aiyu jellies, freshly zested grapefruit, lime juice, which are specially made in-house to complement the unique tea profiles of the various blends.

“Every cup of Cupfy beverage is curated and prepared with passion, love, and care. We want to offer customers the most joyful and inspiring tea drinking experience by using the finest ingredients to complement our signature oolong tea. We are excited to be introducing Cupfy here in Singapore, and we hope tea-loving customers of all ages can find their own ‘cup of tea’ here at Cupfy,” says Amy Ip, Co-Founder of Cupfy.

Apart from brewing drinks that are good for our soul, Cupfy is also all about being good to the planet, embracing a sustainability-first approach as one of its key brand ethos. The name ‘Cupfy’ is a wordplay for “Cup-Free”, and in dine-in locations, drinks are served in glasses instead of disposable plastic cups. You are also encouraged to bring your own cups or tumblers for a 20-cent discount. Whereas for takeaway and delivery orders, Cupfy drinks are served in paper cups, along with biodegradable straws.

“Apart from offering tasty beverages made with natural ingredients, we believe we have a role to play in protecting the planet – the place where we live and where we source our ingredients. From promoting the ‘bring your own cup’ concept to providing alternatives for plastic straws, we hope these steps can bring a positive impact to the environment,” says CY, Co-Founder of Cupfy.

Cupfy also plays a part in supporting environmental sustainability causes as a portion of sales made from paper cups for takeaways are donated to organisations, institutions, or funds supporting sustainability efforts.

If you are the health- and sugar-conscious type, you will be pleased to know that all Cupfy drinks contain less sugar and are prepared using raw cane sugar or natural sucrose, which is the most complete energy-supplying substance that can be easily decomposed in the human body. You may also opt for maltitol – a diabetic-friendly sugar alternative that offers similar sweetness as sugar with lesser calories, so that more customers can enjoy the great taste from Cupfy.

Cupfy is located at GrabKitchen Aljunied and is available to order via the Grab app.

🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.

🗳️ Don’t forget to vote tomorrow ok?
