Subway’s Sandwiches

12 Kid-Friendly Treats At Junction 8

One of the safest choices in keeping your kids happy, Subway offers various sandwiches that your kids can customise to their belly’s content. Plus, they have chips and cookies, and we all know how much kids love those!

Address: 9 Bishan Place, Junction 8, #01-31, Bishan Bus Interchange, 579837

Din Tai Fung’s Dumplings

12 Kid-Friendly Treats At Junction 8

You can’t go wrong with Din Tai Fung! Although not all children love Chinese food, most of them do love dumplings – and Din Tai Fung’s dumplings are a hit for a reason. The skin is thin, soft, and tender; and the filling is finely minced and blended so that kids will have fun enjoying every flavour without getting overwhelmed. They have noodles, too, in case your kid is a noodle lover!

Address: 9 Bishan Place, Junction 8, #01-41, Singapore 579837

WOK HEY’s Fresh Udon

On that note, if your kids love noodles, then WOK HEY has many options. For the kids who like their noodles thick, their fresh udon topped with grilled chicken, braised beef, or seasoned prawns are a good choice; while those who prefer thinner noodles can opt for fresh ramen instead. They also have rice meals here in case you’re in the mood for some rice.

Sakae Sushi’s Chicken Katsu

If there’s one type of cuisine that is quite hard to ease kids into, it’s Japanese. If you’re craving good Japanese food but your kids aren’t having it, ease them into this cuisine with Sakae Sushi’s chicken katsu. Kids love fried chicken and this is an elevated version of it. Tender and juicy, you can have your fill of Japanese food while they munch on some good ol’ fried chicken – win-win!

Address: 9 Bishan Place, Junction 8,  #B1-20, Singapore 579837

Osaka Ohsho’s Chicken Karaage

If you think katsu may still look a bit too unfamiliar for your picky eaters, eat at Osaka Ohsho instead. They have chicken karaage that looks more like regular fried chicken and you can get some gyoza and fried rice for them, too – two more safe options that are sure to delight even the pickiest of eaters.

A-One Claypot House’s Porridge

Porridge is easy to feed to kids because it’s simple and homey. Of course, it would be best to try and get them to try the hot pots at A-One – and most kids love the different flavours and wide offerings in each pot. However, it’s also nice to know that they have some generous porridge as a go-to just in case your kids aren’t in an adventurous mood after all.

TORI-Q’s Sausages

If you are looking for a snack to feed your kids during your day out but aren’t exactly in the mood for regular fast food, have them try the sausages at TORI-Q. Whilst there, you can feast on your favourite (more adventurous) skewers while keeping them happy and satiated at the same time.
