Skyline Luge Singapore celebrates 100 million global rides with exciting giveaways, including a grand trip to South Korea! From thrilling night rides to family-friendly experiences, here’s why Skyline Luge on Sentosa remains an iconic attraction loved by locals and tourists alike. Don’t miss your chance to join the celebration!

Did you know Skyline Luge recently celebrated an incredible 100 million rides worldwide? If you’ve ever zipped down the tracks at Sentosa, you’re part of this extraordinary achievement. Skyline Luge has become a cherished Singapore tradition over the past two decades, from thrilling first rides to memorable family days out. Here’s everything you need to know about this impressive milestone and how you can join the exciting celebration!

Skyline Luge Singapore: A Thrilling History

Since opening its doors in 2005, Skyline Luge has transformed Sentosa Island into a must-visit destination for adventure enthusiasts and families. What started as a single track and one chairlift has become a major attraction featuring four thrilling tracks and two convenient chairlifts. The best part? Skyline Luge Singapore was the first in the world to introduce the Night Luge concept in 2023, giving riders an electrifying experience as they glide down illuminated tracks set to pulsing music.

What Makes Skyline Luge So Popular?

Skyline Luge isn’t just another ride, it’s an experience. Invented by Hylton Hensman after an uninspiring cart ride in Canada, the luge lets riders take control of their descent, racing down tracks at their speed. With hairpin corners, exhilarating tunnels, and picturesque rainforest routes filled with mythical creatures, every run offers something uniquely exciting.

Family-Friendly Fun for Everyone

One reason Skyline Luge Singapore remains a beloved attraction is its inclusivity. Everyone, from young children riding tandem with parents to thrill-seekers tackling tracks solo, can enjoy the ride safely. The attraction’s philosophy that anyone can luge, regardless of age or skill, ensures it remains a family favourite year after year.

Celebrate and Win Big: Grand Prize Trip to South Korea!

Skyline Luge has launched an incredible global giveaway to mark this massive milestone. From June to July 2025, you can win a spectacular trip to Busan, South Korea for yourself and three friends! Valued at up to S$15,000, this grand prize includes an exclusive luge experience on Busan’s stunning coastal tracks.

Joining the giveaway is simple: snap your favourite luge moment, post it on Instagram or TikTok, and use the hashtags #100MillionLugeSEA and #100MillionLuge. This could be your chance to trade Sentosa’s tropical trails for Busan’s scenic seaside views!

Strike a Pose with the Golden Cart

As part of the celebrations, a special Golden Luge Cart will be displayed at Siloso Beach from 3 June to 31 August 2025. Don’t miss this limited-time Instagram-worthy opportunity to capture a golden moment and share your excitement with friends and followers.

Building Memories, One Ride at a Time

Skyline Luge is more than just an attraction; it’s where generations of families return to create lasting memories. Healthcare worker Tan Sijia fondly recalls how Skyline Luge provided a joyful escape during the stressful COVID-19 pandemic. “It was a dark period,” she shares, “but Skyline Luge brought us joy.”

Three people in helmets smile as they race luge carts side by side under vibrant, glowing tunnel lights at Night Luge Sentosa.

Similarly, General Manager Stephanie Besse and Operations Manager Nur Farhana Bte Abdul Rahim exemplify how the luge has deeply woven into Singaporean families’ lives. Stephanie’s journey with Skyline Luge began as fun outings with her kids and grew into a passionate career. Farhana, affectionately known as Farah Mummy, has been part of the team for nearly 15 years, watching generations of families, including her own, grow up on the tracks.

Skyline Luge: A Future Filled with Fun

Skyline Luge Singapore shows no signs of slowing down. Committed to constantly evolving, the attraction provides unforgettable experiences for first-time visitors and loyal regulars. If you haven’t tried it yet or haven’t visited recently, there’s no better time than now to experience the magic of Skyline Luge.

As Skyline Luge celebrates 100 million rides, it’s clear that every ride down the hill isn’t just about the thrill—it’s about creating moments you’ll treasure forever. So, why not join the celebration and become a part of Skyline Luge history yourself?

Have you shared your favourite Skyline Luge memory yet? Who knows, your next ride might take you to Busan!
