If you are a frequent traveler, very often you will get a travel insurance to protect yourself. Most of the time, I will purchase my travel insurance directly from the airline’s website due to convenience. There wasn’t second thoughts on whether is my travel insurance coverage poor or overpriced. Therefore, I might be paying a pricey insurance with coverages that doesn’t meet my requirements. That sounds like a small hole burnt on my wallet.

GoBear (https://www.gobear.com.sg) has been helping people for the past 1 year by making financial products easy to decide. These financial products includes travel insurance, health insurance, car insurance and credit cards. These are the common products which has complex information and terms. By setting requirements for an individual product, GoBear will display the results. After which, you can select the product you want and GoBear will link you to their partner’s website. There is no advertising in GoBear, therefore there are no sponsored listings. Just simple and honest comparisons.

This year, GoBear has turned one year old and the big brown bear will be traveling around different locations in the island. The mascot will be giving out #BearWisdom memopads, which offer tips about financial products. Sponsored by Scoot, GoBear will be giving away free pair of air tickets to fly the lucky winners to Gold Coast. Here are the rules to win the air tickets:

I found one of the quirkiest little spots in Joo Chiat 👀

Heartware Store & Gallery is currently hosting Japanese artist Choibusu’s first solo exhibition in Singapore, featuring 500+ handmade “ugly-cute” keychains. Think sushi, snails, wisdom teeth and all sorts of wonderfully weird characters. 😂

There are also vintage Japanese toys, 3D-printed lamps, colourful merch and plenty of random treasures to discover.

📍 Heartware Store & Gallery
350B Joo Chiat Road
📅 Till 13 Sep 2026
🎟️ FREE entry

Save this for your next Joo Chiat adventure!
