The cake’s decadent interior includes a luscious Prosperity Pineapple core and a chocolate ganache crumble base. The pineapple, known as “ong lai” in Hokkien, represents the arrival of prosperity, making it an auspicious centrepiece for gatherings. Priced at $66.80, this delightful creation is as visually charming as it is delicious.

Knock on Luck with the Golden Treat

Swensen’s Lucky Knock Knock Gold Bars add a layer of whimsy to the celebrations. These dazzling golden bars are not just eye-catching but hold a surprise within—crunchy Kit Kat balls nestled in smooth, sticky, chewy chocolate ice cream. Toss to Abundance with Prosperity Yu Sheng

No Lunar New Year gathering is complete without a Yu Sheng toss, and Swensen’s Prosperity Yu Sheng platters make this tradition even more special. These colourful and fresh platters feature 18 premium ingredients, including smoked salmon, baby abalone, juicy pomelo, and crispy crackers. They’re available in two sizes: Regular ($29.80, serves 3–6) and Large ($44.80, serves 6–10).

A colorful plate of food with vegetables and noodles evokes the Prosperity Yu Sheng tradition, accompanied by a small dish of sauce. A pair of chopsticks and a large red food container sit on the vibrant surface, celebrating abundance during the Year of the Snake.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.
