It’s been a year and a half ever since I stopped my weight loss treatment with Absolute Wellness in October 2017. Many of you might not remember, but there was a time when I was 95kg. This was me before:
Thanks to Absolute Wellness’s CSH therapy, after my first round of treatment, I lost a total of 15kg for over 4 months. Unbelievable right?
My jeans were downsized from 42″ loose fit jeans to size 34″ skinny fit jeans. My knee pain went away thanks to a lighter figure, and outdoor play with my children became fun again. This was me after just a short 3 months after I started treatment:

My Life After Absolute Slimming
In the beginning, my sessions are held twice a week, and there are recommended foods to eat, as well as certain no-brainer foods which I have to cut down on. However, these recommendations are only temporary – once you stop treatment, you can resume your usual eating habits and, thanks to an improved metabolism, whatever weight you lost wouldn’t rebound. Or so I was told!
During the first two months of my treatment, I followed the recommendations; ate well and moderated my intake of sugar, salt and processed food. It wasn’t hard, and it wasn’t anything drastic. I still ate a sufficient portion over three meals a day, and didn’t exercise at all.
And then an amazing thing happened.
By the 4th month, I had already lost 15kg. It was a total transformation, something I wasn’t able to do previously despite my dieting and cardio. My BMI had never looked better. I was seriously impressed.
My wife saw the transformation and joined the program too – and shrunk down by about 6kg in 1 month!
Soon after my weight and metabolism improved from the 4th month onwards, I reduced my frequency from twice a week to once a week, as work was getting busier.
I stopped following the eating recommendations as rigorously, but amazingly, my weight certainly maintained.
I also noticed some general improvements to my health besides weight loss – I was sleeping better at night, had fewer body aches and performed better at work.
Although my treatment with Absolute Wellness stopped ever since, I am still cautious about what I eat every day. My appetite was reduced and I got fuller much easier. Plus, the sensible eating habits I adopted was instilled in my mind.
Nevertheless, I was given the green light from Absolute Wellness’s team to enjoy any type of sinful foods I wanted, and since my metabolism rate has improved, my weight wouldn’t rebound.
Putting my metabolism rate to the test
Even though the team assured me, I was worried that once I stopped treatment I would gain back the 15kg very quickly. Putting negative thoughts aside, I decided to put my metabolism rate to the test by enjoying my life to the fullest and be myself.
Every morning, I would weigh myself. On average, my weight will range from 78kg to 80kg. No matter what food I consume, it remained within this range for a year. My jeans still fit perfectly well. I have even started late-night snacking while watching Netflix on my television.
After being away from Absolute Wellness for 1.5 years, I noticed my weight increasing a tiny bit, even though my clothes still fit. I didn’t feel my clothes tighten at all, in fact.
I have been monitoring my weight closely, wondering if my metabolism rate has slowed down. My wife, who is still on the Absolute Wellness program, similarly has her weight under control.
As a loyal customer since 2017, my wife now truly believes that CSH therapy® does have an impact on our body’s metabolism rate.
Hoping to reduce my weight (as I was afraid my knees would hurt again), I started to cut down carbs and late-night snacking. To my surprise, my weight did not go down as much as I expected.
Improving my metabolism with Absolute Wellness
This September, I have revisited Absolute Wellness again after 18 months. After chatting with the therapist and taking some measurements, I realised that I did put on a bit of weight again even though I didn’t feel any difference in my measurements. Too much late-night snacking, maybe!
So I thought it’d be a good idea to kickstart the program again and see how my body responds this time. Based on my last experience in 2017, I think it’ll be easy. Let’s hope I’m not wrong!
