Dreaming of a Spanish getaway? From October 16-28, 2025, you can experience the heart of Spain right at Jewel Changi Airport. Dive into authentic flavours, win dining vouchers, and enjoy family-friendly cultural activities. It’s a perfect, passport-free adventure for foodies and families in Singapore.

Ever wished you could whisk the family away for a Spanish holiday without the long flight and hefty price tag? What if I told you that the vibrant heart of Spain is coming to Singapore this October? Thanks to the Spain Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group, you can treat your loved ones to an unforgettable cultural mini-break right here at home.

From the 16th to the 28th of October 2025, the South Gateway Garden on Level 2 of Jewel Changi Airport will be transformed into “Little Spain at Jewel”. This immersive pop-up is your chance to soak in the sights, sounds, and most importantly, the incredible tastes of Spain.

A Feast for the Senses

The "Little Spain" storefront features Spanish decor, plants, a guitar, and displays—ideal for families at Jewel Changi.

Your adventure starts with your taste buds. The event brings together some of Singapore’s most beloved Spanish restaurants. Olivia, Kulto, and My Little Spanish Place are offering a chance to win dining vouchers. Imagine treating your partner to traditional tapas, a rich paella, or the famous Basque burnt cheesecake. It is a fantastic opportunity to plan a date night or a special family meal.

But the culinary journey does not stop there. Ecolah, Singapore’s gateway to authentic Spanish gourmet products, will be on site. You can browse and shop a selection of premium goodies. Think extra virgin olive oils, artisan preserves, and sweet treats. They make perfect gifts for foodie friends or a lovely treat for your own pantry.

A lively Spanish food booth on a red carpet offers Singaporean Spanish cuisine, green gift bags, and dining voucher prizes.

Discover Your Spanish Side

Beyond the food, there is plenty to see and do. El Corte Inglés, Spain’s most iconic department store, is bringing an interactive Shopper Personality Test. It is a fun, quick quiz that reveals which Spanish city best matches your style. Will it be the fashion-forward energy of Madrid or the coastal charm of Barcelona? The test will even suggest what treasures to look for when you eventually visit.

One of the most captivating parts of the exhibit is the celebration of the Camino de Santiago. This is one of the world’s most famous pilgrimage routes. Through interactive displays and storytelling, you can learn about its thousand-year history. You can even dress up in the traditional pilgrim outfit, cloak, hat and staff, all specially brought from Spain for a unique photo opportunity. It is a wonderful way to introduce older kids to concepts of adventure, history, and self-discovery.

Fun for the Whole Family

This is not a stand-behind-a-rope kind of exhibit. It is designed to be a colourful, hands-on experience for all ages. You can snap a photo mimicking a flamenco dance move, feeling the rhythm of Andalusia. For the little ones, there is a Kids’ Coloring Fiesta to keep their creativity flowing. The entire setup is family-friendly and packed with Instagram-worthy moments. It is vibrant, it is engaging, and best of all, admission is completely free.

At Jewel Changi, a display showcases a Camino de Santiago sign, map, cathedral photo, and pilgrim mannequin on green turf.

Why Jewel is the Perfect Setting

Set against the stunning backdrop of Jewel Changi Airport, with its lush indoor gardens and the world-famous Rain Vortex, this pop-up finds a perfect home. Jewel is a destination built on discovery, making it the ideal place to host this celebration of Spanish culture. Whether you are actually flying out, picking someone up, or just looking for a unique weekend outing, Little Spain fits seamlessly into your plans.

Your Invitation to Spain

So, mark your calendars. From October 16 to 28, 2025, daily from 10 am to 10 pm, your Spanish adventure is waiting. Grab a friend, bring the kids, and step into a mini-Spain. You will leave with great memories and perhaps some delicious Spanish flavours in your bag.

Will we see you there?
