My food hunt today is White Dog Cafe at Vivocity. The dining experience feels spacious and cosy. I had my early lunch at 11.30am, so I managed to enjoy the peace and quiet atmosphere in the restaurant.
The waitress started to serve me with curry favor corn chips and ice water when I got myself comfortable. I thought it should be cheese instead of curry?? The chips cost $2. You can choose to reject it if you don’t want it. The ice water is free and is serve in a nice looking jar. :)
I have placed order for the Seafood Medly Pasta and my wife ordered the Bacon La Carbonara. Both pasta tasted fantastic. The flavors are rich, the sauces are think and creamy and finally, the most important is my seafoods are fresh. A minor problem was my seafood pasta is quite saltish.
I also ordered fried calamari rings as my side dish. This is good. In total, I have paid $38 for my lunch. I think it is reasonable with the good atmosphere and good food.
