Perched above Alexandra’s buzz, Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie’s new buffet-plus-mains concept is a fresh reason to eat out. From wood-fired roasts to lobster risotto, the menu is hearty, relaxed, and flavoured, starting at $29++.

Can a hotel restaurant surprise you? Tucked away on the 7th floor of Momentus Hotel Alexandra, Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie is doing just that in all the right ways.

Freshly relaunched this May, the rooftop hideout offers something many buffets don’t: a thoughtfully plated main course, followed by an all-you-can-enjoy spread that makes sense with your meal. Add breezy skyline views and a laid-back atmosphere; you have a compelling reason to linger longer.

Chefs at a buffet counter serve up roasts in red and brown pots, with greenery overhead—a top pick for Singapore hotel dining.

The new menu leans into modern European flavours, with just enough local soul to feel familiar. Whether you’re here for a quick lunch or settling in for a slow dinner, the vibe strikes that sweet spot between comfort and occasion.

A Smarter Way to Buffet

Buffets can feel overwhelming or, worse, underwhelming. But here, there’s a rhythm to things. You choose your main, think juicy roasts or seafood pasta, then explore the buffet for sides, salads, soups, and desserts that play supporting roles without stealing the show.

It’s a clever balance. You still get that variety we all love, but with the flavour and finesse of a plated dish. It’s especially great when dining with people with very different cravings.

Also, the space itself is a surprise. Lush plants and modern finishes surround you—more of a rooftop garden party than a stiff hotel setup. The view’s good, too, especially around sunset.

Midday Feasts from $29++

Lunch starts at $29++ on weekdays, which is a bit of a steal for what you’re getting.

The Locally Farmed Red Snapper Papillote is one of those dishes that looks delicate but packs bold flavour. It’s steamed with shellfish and vermicelli, then finished with a slightly spicy fermented bean sauce that adds depth without overpowering the fish.

Another standout is the Rotisserie French Yellow Chicken ‘Panggang’. Smoky from the grill, vibrant from turmeric, and served with sambal hijau, it’s a proper tribute to Southeast Asian comfort food done with finesse.

Shrimp, octopus, and clams with vegetables baked in parchment, served on a dark plate at this chic rooftop Singapore spot.

Craving carbs? Go for the Thai-Spiced Seafood Aglio Olio. It has bite and heat, and those plump Argentinian prawns don’t mess around.

Dinner Done Right Starting at $58++

Come nightfall, Verandah steps things up. Dinner starts at $58++ on weekdays and $68++ on weekends, and it’s worth every cent.

Succulent roast chicken with broccolini, carrots, potatoes, stuffing, sauce & vine tomatoes—hotel dining at its finest.

Start with the Signature Rotisserie Poulet. This French yellow chicken is brined, stuffed with truffle and pancetta, then roasted in a traditional rotisserie oven. The result is crisp skin, juicy meat, and a depth of flavour that doesn’t need much dressing up.

Seafood fans won’t regret the Lobster Risotto, rich, savoury, and just the right amount of creamy, or the Linguine Al Cartoccio, cooked in parchment with shellfish, octopus, and prawn. When they open the package at your table, that burst of ocean aroma is something else.

For Meat Lovers, It’s Prime Time

The dinner menu also caters to serious meat lovers. There’s no shortage of premium cuts here.

The Acorn-fed Iberian Pork Skirt Steak has that deep, nutty flavour you only get from pigs raised on wild acorns. It’s rich but clean and incredibly satisfying.

A seasoned steak, asparagus, tomatoes, and rosemary sizzle on a grill—perfect for rooftop European dining in Singapore.

Other highlights include

  • New Zealand Grass-fed Lamb Rump
  • Tajima Wagyu Picanha from Australia
  • 200-Day Grain-fed Black Angus Ribeye

Feeling fancy? Top up $40++ for a slice of Japanese Miyazaki Wagyu Striploin, A5. It’s flown in weekly and is limited, so don’t think twice if you see it on the board.

Add-Ons for Sharing If You’ve Got Room

If you’re coming with a group or feeling a little indulgent, the sharing plates are worth exploring.

The Royal Seafood Paella is dramatic and generous, packed with lobster, scallops, and prawns. The Sustainably Farmed Turbot is a clean, buttery option with a crisp skin and silky white wine sauce.

Risotto with lobster, truffle slices, and parmesan crisps—an elevated modern European dish in a luxury Singapore hotel.

Then there’s the Black Angus Tomahawk, carved tableside and served with truffle mash and just enough sauce options to play with.

Yes, they take 30 minutes to prepare. And yes, it’s worth the wait.

More Than Just a Meal

What makes Verandah special isn’t just the food, though that’s a big part. It’s how relaxed everything feels. You’re never rushed, the staff are warm without hovering, and there’s room to breathe even when the place gets busy.

It’s an excellent spot for everything from birthdays to business lunches. But honestly, it’s also a nice break from the usual, whether you live nearby or you’re just looking for a new place to eat that’s not in the CBD.

Rooftop Dining with Real Heart

Modern restaurant with elegant tables, plush seating, globe lights, and lush greenery—perfect for top-tier Singapore hotel dining.

Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie isn’t loud or flashy. It doesn’t need to be. It serves genuinely good food in a setting that feels like a retreat above the city. The kind of place that makes you want to slow down, order that second glass of wine, and stay a little longer.

So if your next meal deserves a bit more atmosphere and flavour, this rooftop in Alexandra might surprise you.
