Nikon Singapore introduces the Z 30, a camera for self-expression and storytelling. Compact and portable in a backpack or handbag, the unobtrusive APS-C size/DX-format mirrorless camera in the Z series range captures unique perspectives of the world in lifelike colours and clarity. Video creation and photography are made effortless with the optimal positioning of buttons, easy user interface, dedicated focus modes, long video recording time, and beautiful outputs even in low-light environments.

Video creators and vloggers will find a dependable companion in the Z 30 with its prominently placed built-in microphone, a movie-record indicator light – the REC lamp that notifies of recording in progress, auto switch to self-portrait mode when the monitor faces front, and an angle of view that is approximately 100% even in 4K UHD/30p.

“The Z 30 offers video capabilities that are simple and practical for aspiring users who are venturing into digital content creation. The impeccable performance and versatility of the camera empower creators to express and document their unique stories in amazing details and textures, supporting individual creativity,” said Horie Masahiro, Managing Director of Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd.

Inspiring Creativity with Mighty Features

The Z 30 is a camera dedicated to video filming. With up to 125 minutes1 of shooting time, Eye-Detection Autofocus, and Full-time Autofocus (AF-F), the camera offers unmatched consistency and delivers a focused shot in any setting.

Get more out of Auto mode with Single Autofocus (AF-S), Continuous Autofocus (AF-C), and Manual Focus (MF) available for choosing. For those with photogenic fur friends, the Animal- Detection AF detects pets’ eyes for a focused framing in both video and stills.

Capture clarity and textures even in low-light settings, be it night market excursions or evening cookouts, with an ISO sensitivity of up to 25600 for videos and up to 51200 for still images – adding personality and breathing life into every shot taken.

The camera’s 4K UHD video with an approximately 100% angle of view makes filming product reviews or makeup tutorials a breeze, even in narrow spaces. Get imaginative and turn up the dial on storytelling ingenuity with Full HD/120p for slow-motion filming and 20 types of filter effects from Creative Picture Controls to choose from.

A responsive camera for those who enjoy vlogging or documenting travel adventures, the Z 30 sports a 7.5cm vari-angle touch-sensitive monitor to allow users to get creative with their shooting. Weighing approximately 350g2, the compact camera is ideal for extended periods of shooting or a long day out.

Compatible with a wide array of accessories, including the vast range of NIKKOR lenses, Webcam Utility for live streaming, and NX Studio for quick and easy video editing, the Z 30’s versatility is unparalleled. With the SnapBridge application, sharing and transferring your shots from camera to smart devices is even easier.

An Impetus of Wondrous Imagination and Possibilities

Capturing meaningful memories with stills has never been easier. Take their expressions to new heights with exposure compensation in Auto mode to easily balance the light and shadows of an image. For creators who are particular about reflecting the exact nuance of an intended portrait shot, Picture Control comes in handy with its three parameters of adjustments.

With the same image-processing engine used in the award-winning Z 7 and Nikon’s very own CMOS sensor, the Z 30 delivers up to approximately 11 frames per second in high-speed continuous shooting (extended) or approximately 5 frames per second in the regular setting. Shooting in venues or moments requiring minimal interruptions is also made accessible when silent mode is turned on, so the shutter makes no sound when it is released.

Performance and Practicality at your Fingertips

Usability is enhanced as the Z 30 offers an effective arrangement of operational controls inherited from high-end Z series camera models. The highly customisable mode dial can save up to three original settings, feature custom buttons for assignment to frequently used settings, and a photo/video selector that allows fast and easy switching. The comfortable yet elegantly designed deep embossed leather grip is paired with an ergonomically shaped front right shoulder for added ease of use.
