There’s a gentle thrill in discovering something new that already feels like home. From 24 April 2025, McDonald’s Singapore introduces a duo of Chicken McWraps — one subtly indulgent, the other with just the right amount of kick. These handheld wraps bring elegance to the everyday, tucked neatly into a whole-grain tortilla and ready to meet your lunchtime commute or post-meeting hunger pangs.

Alongside, a few well-loved friends return: Crisscut Fries, Banana Pie, and even $1 McCafé Coffee — proof that comfort and convenience needn’t be mundane.

The Buttermilk Chicken McWrap: Simple Pleasures, Wrapped Up

McDonald’s Singapore McWraps: Spicy or Buttermilk crispy chicken, cheese, and lettuce in tortillas. Try with Crisscut Fries!.

There’s something quietly confident about the Buttermilk Chicken McWrap. It’s a permanent menu fixture now — and for good reason. Crisp whole-muscle chicken thigh in a golden buttermilk crust, nestled against a bed of crisp lettuce, purple cabbage, black pepper mayo, and aged white cheddar. The wrap? A warm, wholegrain tortilla that softens the crunch with each bite.

It’s not trying too hard. It doesn’t need to. It’s all the right notes of texture and flavour — served with a side of ease.

The Spicy Chicken McWrap: A Limited-Time Flirtation

By contrast, the Spicy Chicken McWrap is a bit of a tease. It arrives with fire and flair — that same chicken thigh, now spiced just enough to tingle, layered with mayo, cheddar, lettuce, and cabbage. Like its milder sibling, it’s wrapped and ready for action, but only for a fleeting time.

Whether you’re heat-seeking or simply curious, this one’s worth catching before it fades from the spotlight.

Crisscut Fries: A Well-Loved Comeback

There are fries, and then there are Crisscut Fries. Geometric, golden, and joyfully crunchy, they’ve returned to lend some drama to the plate. Available à la carte or for just $1 more as an upgrade with your meal, they add a visual pop and satisfyingly seasoned bite.

These are fries with presence — the kind you order “just to share”, but somehow never do.

Banana Pie & Coconut Soft Serve: Island Vibes in a Cup

For dessert, McDonald’s dials up the tropical. The Banana Pie, familiar to local palates, returns with its creamy banana filling cocooned in a hot, crispy crust. It’s nostalgic, golden, and just messy enough to make you smile.

Pair it with the Coconut Soft Serve, available in a cone, sundae, or swirled with OREO® crumbs into a McFlurry®. It’s all gentle coconut and cool relief — a soft scoop of escapism on a humid Singapore day.

$1 McCafé Coffee: A Small Luxury on a Weekday

Coffee at a dollar? In 2025? Somehow, yes. From April 28 to May 28, a $1 McCafé Coffee is available on weekdays, excluding public holidays, across Singapore. Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Iced Latte, Iced Americano. All brewed with Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Arabica beans.

It’s a democratic pleasure. Your morning ritual or mid-afternoon treat, reimagined without the price tag. And as far as caffeine-fuelled moments go, it’s hard to beat the value — and flavour — on offer.

When and Where: A Few Dates to Note

  • From 24 April onwards, the Buttermilk Chicken McWrap will be a permanent addition to the menu. The Spicy Chicken McWrap, Crisscut Fries and Banana Pie are available during non-breakfast hours, while stocks last.
  • 28 April – 28 May: Enjoy $1 McCafé coffees on weekdays. Available only for dine-in and takeaway at restaurants and Drive-Thrus.
  • From 17 April: Coconut Soft Serves are served daily at Dessert Kiosks and participating outlets.

You’ll find these delights at all McDonald’s Singapore restaurants, including via Drive-Thru, McDelivery®, GrabFood, foodpanda, and Deliveroo.

Final Thoughts: Everyday Indulgence, Wrapped to Go

McDonald’s latest line-up feels a bit like a staycation meal — familiar, affordable, and refreshingly put-together. The new Chicken McWraps bring a casual sophistication to fast food, the Crisscut Fries and Banana Pie stir just enough nostalgia, and the $1 McCafé Coffee delivers weekday luxury in a paper cup.

Sometimes, it’s not about reinventing the wheel. Sometimes, it’s just about wrapping up good things in a way that fits into your day — stylishly, effortlessly, deliciously.

Craving sparked? Perhaps it’s time for a wrap.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.
