From 1 to 30 November 2021, The Fullerton Hotels Singapore will present the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ Afternoon Tea, inspired by the local cuisines of Australia and Singapore.

Curated as a nod to sister property The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, the menu reinterprets flavours and ingredients that are synonymous with each country’s unique culinary heritage. Look forward to teatime treats that are refreshing and familiar in turn, such as The Fullerton Signature Pandan Lamington — a classic Aussie sponge cake infused with the distinctive fragrance of the pandan leaf. The afternoon tea experience will be served at The Courtyard, located at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, and The Landing Point, located at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore. The set will also be available online for takeaway or delivery at shop.fullertonhotels.com.

The Best of Both Worlds Afternoon Tea: 1 – 30 November 2021

Evocative of classic treats that span generations of Singaporeans and Australians alike, the repertoire of handcrafted patisserie bridges the joy of discovery with the warmth of nostalgia.

Elegantly presented on three tiers, it begins with a savoury line-up: caramelised soy-marinated pulled pork on a crispy mini bun; curry chicken vol au vent; classic cucumber sandwich with salted butter; truffled egg chives mayonnaise on spinach bread; and Tasmanian salmon and cream cheese mini éclair with lemon myrtle and Szechuan peppercorn, which combines the citrussy fragrance of the Australian native herb with the numbing sensation of Szechuan peppercorn.

For dessert, Executive Pastry Chef Siddharth Prabhu reimagines timeless sweets loved by locals, young and old, in both countries: Aussie summer fruit tart; lychee bandung swiss roll; coconut banana frangipane; the Fullerton Signature Pandan Lamington; a dark chocolate flourless cake with roselle; and a chendol macaron.

Staying true to the English ritual, the afternoon tea experience is replete with the quintessential classic scones and raisin scones served with fresh clotted cream and jam, as well as a fine selection of teas.
