WIFI nowadays is as essential as drinking water for a living. It has become a necessary part of our lives. To be online all the time and to do all your work on the internet, it is essential that the WIFI is ‘always on’ with optimal coverage. To be able to stream your favourite YouTube videos in HD and download documents from Dropbox, your WIFI network should always be available and must be performing well.

D-link is the company that provides the best networking solutions for houses as well as companies and hospitals. The company is always engaged in providing surveillance, and the best WIFI technology. Recently D-link launched its new mesh networking setup COVR-C1203, which is a dual-band system and is less priced than the tri-band COVR-2022.

Difference Between WIFI routers And Mesh Technology

The Mesh WIFI networks are the new thing in the market. The main difference between the traditional WIFI and Mesh WIFI is that the conventional WIFI system has a single access point which provides a network to the small area. If that access point which is a router has some problem, then everyone has to let go of their internet service, whereas Mesh technology has a system of access points that are linked together in a chain mail. If one access point goes off, then the devices connect to other access points, and the mesh is self-healed. Mesh WIFI technology is ideal for covering large areas and where the failure of WIFI cannot be tolerated.

Features Of COVR-C1203

The COVR-C1203 comes in the packaging of three different nodes, that are in the shape of a small spaceship. The nodes are cute and are easy to handle and can be hidden in the house, the nodes are also given two optional covers in gold and blue colour to differentiate them. When the nodes are in operation, the top of them emits white and bright light, which cannot be turned off from the app.

This device makes you have a single seamless connection due to which you can easily use the network around the house without being interrupted by the buffering, dropouts and dead spots.

D-link WIFI app

The D-link COVR can easily be installed by using the D-link app for iOS and Android devices. It makes the installation process more manageable, the primary “A” node is set up by connecting it to the modem router and starting it with the app.

It also has the parental control feature, which allows you to make schedules for the use of the internet. It can enable you to have a look at the connected devices and restrict access to the client devices whenever you like. The client devices can be blocked from the internet and can be provided complete access according to your will.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
