Time to shift away those modernise Oreo Cheesecakes, Chocolate Brownies and Tiramisu from cafes aside and taste the traditional slices of cakes from Beijing Confectionery. Operated back in the 1983, this bakery shop has been baking and serving people of all ages for more than 30 years. All these fluffy, spongy and creamy layered cakes ($1.20 each) brings my wife and me back to our younger days.
On my plate of wonderful cakes, in anti-clockwise direction, I have the Kiwi cake, Vanilla cake, White Royal cake (this is white chocolate cake), Coffee cake and Chocolate Rice cake. Great to have them for breakfast and tea time!
