Hungry but in a hurry? Convenience stores are here to the rescue! Fortunately, there are many convenience stores around Singapore, and they all host various foods you can just grab and eat to satiate your hunger and make you full enough to survive the next few hours. Here are some of our top picks.

Sandwiches

Sandwiches are relatively cheap at convenience stores, and the best part is: there are always so many options to choose from, so you can choose a different flavour every time and never get sick of them. From classic fillings like egg and cheese to more unique flavours like chicken katsu, there’s always a way to change up your sandwiches for a quick bite on the go. Plus, they’re easy to hold and eat even with one hand.

Ready-to-Eat Sausages

If you watch Korean dramas, you’ve seen these ready-to-eat sausages more than once. Characters in K-dramas love stocking up on these sausages and having an emergency stash in their bags for a reason: they’re convenient and addicting. If you’re not super hungry and simply want to make sure your tummy has something in it during the day, these ready-to-eat sausages are a great option, so make sure to stock up on them yourself.

Korean Ramen

Speaking of Korean dramas, they love eating ramen at convenience stores too. If you have the time to sit down at a convenience store and eat your meal before you head out to the next thing you have to do, Korean ramen is a great choice because it’s filling and delicious. It’s not exactly a grab-and-go type of food, but we couldn’t leave it out of this list because we love it too much.

Rice Meals

If you have two hands-frees to eat on the go and are craving some rice, convenience stores have good rice meals. Just heat it before leaving the store and eat it whenever is convenient.

If you’re extra hungry and craving pasta, convenience stores carry pasta dishes too. Whether you prefer red sauce or white sauce, they’ve got delicious options you’ll love to eat on the go.

These options aside, you can also find a wide range of chips, snacks, and desserts at convenience stores that you can conveniently buy anytime at affordable prices. So the next time you’re in a hurry and need a quick bite, don’t knock trying out convenience store food. They can be well worth it!

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
