Why I Want My Boy to be like Thor?

Thor is a god of thunder of Asgardian and a mighty warrior. He was the first who founded The Avengers after Graviton was defeated. I like this character, and as a father, I want my son to be like him.

Not only because he was a hero and The Avengers is my favourite movie, but it is the personality of Thor that makes me wish for my son to become just like him.

You might be wondering, why a father would want his son to be like a character of a movie. Well, there are many reasons to admire the personality of Thor.

He is a noble and brave warrior, who fought for the sake of his city and the planet. He is a man of honour – a man of his words.

Following are some reasons why I have a wish from my heart to make my son just like him:

He Feels for Everyone

Thor has the biggest heart I have ever seen. He wants to see everyone get along. Although Thor has a great love for a good fight against evil, the family has always been the centre of his life. Despite all the troubles Loki caused him, he gave him numerous chances to redeem himself – not only because he is his brother, but also as he doesn’t want anyone to be doing wrong.

Thor believed in his brother, even though Loki never believed in himself. Thor knew that his brother won’t understand what he wants, but still, he did all to stop him from being a bad guy. Even when he learned that Loki is dead, he was the most pained person on the planet because, after all, Loki was his brother.

As a father, I want my son to be like him – a man who cares not only for his family but also for every human.

He is the Most Powerful Warrior

No one can deny the power of Thor. He is a brave and strong man. Thor stopped a significant portion of the New York city by lifting 100 tons when it was about to drop down and destroy the rest of the city.

Whether armed or an unarmed combat, Thor is a master in every case. He has the terrific stamina and never seems to get tired even after the most dangerous fights.

High stamina and courage are the qualities that make a human a superhuman.

Thor is a Hero

It is easy to be selfish and not care about who do you hurt while trying to achieve your goals. On the other hand, being like heroic – or I must say, being like Thor – is much more difficult.

It not only requires compassion, dedication, and above all, the willingness to sacrifice one own need, just to help someone. Thor has all these qualities, and this is why he is admirable, and his fans love him.

I want my son to be just like Thor because of Thor’s personality, a kind heart with bravery.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.

🗳️ Don’t forget to vote tomorrow ok?
