CASETiFY has just released its latest sustainability Impact Report, which highlights the significant progress of its Re/CASETiFY upcycling initiative. The brand has also announced an exciting month-long series of events across the United States, South Korea, Australia, and China. They are inviting local artists to showcase their talents by repurposing old phone cases into innovative artworks. This initiative is a testament to CASETiFY’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that the end of a phone case’s life marks the beginning of a new one in more ways than one.
CASETiFY has implemented a process called Re/CASETiFY that begins with the placement of bins in over 40 physical stores worldwide. These bins serve as a convenient way for customers to donate their old smartphones and earbud cases.
As a reward for their contribution, customers receive store credit. After collection, the discarded cases are sent to a plastic upcycling facility, where they undergo shredding and separation into Re/CASETiFY pellets. These pellets serve as the core material for crafting recycled plastic accessories such as phone and AirPod cases, while any non-recyclable parts are disposed of responsibly.
