Finally, I was able to locate my peanut crackers at Tampines Interchange. It brought back many childhood memories, as I used to go to the nearby mama shop or convenience store after school to buy a pack and enjoy it at home.

These crackers can be easily made at home. I am not a chef, but the ingredients used appear to be flour, peanuts, anchovies, and kaffir lime leaves. Kaffir lime leaves are usually used in the preparation of Tom Yam Soup to give it a tangy-lime flavour.

In my childhood, potato and taco chips were more expensive than peanut crackers. I purchased this box of homemade peanut crackers for $7.00.
