Outdoor activities are not just for entertainment and thrills. It can also be a form of self-care. You can explore new things, visit different places, spend time with your loved ones, and even enjoy your own company, which benefits your mental and physical health.

Weekends are usually the perfect time for kids and adults to do fun and exciting outdoor activities together. Fortunately, there are a lot of exhilarating activities in Singapore that everyone will love. Enjoy your rest days with unforgettable outdoor weekend activities on my list.

Ziplining

Prepare for an extraordinary and invigorating zipline at Singapore’s treetop obstacle course—the Forest Adventure! Immersed yourself in a challenging yet super fun outdoor activity while connecting with nature. Experience the thrill of flying across Bedok Reservoir on a 300-meter zipline while seeing the view from above. You can choose your preferred obstacle, including Grand Course, Junior Course, Kids Course, and The Big Zip.

Kayaking

Delight in the calmness of water as you move through it in a small boat using a double-bladed paddle. If you are looking for a chill outdoor activity, this recreational sport won’t tire you out too quickly. The Water Sports Centre at Singapore Sports Hub offers various canoes and kayaks for either two hours or a full day, suitable for kids, adults, and senior citizens. You’ll see the relaxing view of Kallang Basin and the magnificent National Stadium across the water while you kayak.

Zorbing

If you want to try something new, say hello to zorbing. This unique recreational activity involves you climbing into an inflatable ball made of transparent plastic and then rolling downhill. What makes it more exciting is that you can do it on land or water. Zorb Singapore puts a twist on zorbing through human bowling, bloop bubble games, and water zorb games. You may opt to avail of packages for parties, team buildings, and different occasions.

Fishing

Who says that fishing is only for adults? Little ones can do it, too! D’Best Fishing is home to the largest fishing ponds in Singapore, filled with diverse seawater fish. Amateurs, professionals, and even kids can enjoy a laid-back fishing experience here. You can also do prawning in an air-conditioned indoor pool and have the prawns you catch cooked immediately. They’re easier to hook than fish, making them perfect for kids.

Make the best of your weekend with your families and friends by engaging in refreshing and memorable outdoor activities and seeing the beauty of nature. What’s your favourite outdoor weekend activity? Let us know in the comments section. We’d love to try it!

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
