My wife has owned a Dyson hair tool for a few years now, and I have learnt over time that the colour of a device matters far more than I initially gave it credit for. It sits on the bathroom counter every single day. It lives on the shelf. It shows up in photographs. So when Dyson releases a colourway this considered, it is worth paying attention, even if you are not the one using it yourself.
As of 7 April 2026, Dyson has launched its latest limited-edition colourway in Singapore. The Ceramic Apricot and Topaz palette combines vibrant mandarin orange with a soft apricot blush and touches of different golds. It is warm, distinctive, and designed around a very specific inspiration.
Where the Colour Comes From
Dyson’s Colours, Materials and Finishes team did not simply pick an appealing shade and move on. The Ceramic Apricot and Topaz palette was developed with the summer solstice as its central reference point. The summer solstice is the longest and brightest day of the year, when the sun strikes Earth at its most direct angle and the light shifts through an entire spectrum of warm, high-wavelength tones from sunrise all the way through to sunset.
The design team mapped out changes in daylight intensity, temperature, and colour across the full arc of that day. They then blended pigments to reflect those shifts, drawing on warm apricots, bold oranges, and softer pinks. Dyson CMF Design Manager Amelia Ayerst described the resulting palette as one that radiates liberation, energy, and celebration, bringing the outdoors in and capturing the high-energy vibrancy of the sun.
It sounds like a significant amount of thinking to put into a hair tool colourway, but you can see the result in the finished product. The tones feel cohesive and considered rather than arbitrarily trendy.
The Devices in the Range
The Ceramic Apricot and Topaz colourway is available across five Dyson Beauty devices, each serving a different purpose in a hair care routine.

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler and dryer is the flagship of the range. It runs on Dyson’s Hyperdymium 2 motor, which delivers twice the air pressure of previous models for faster drying and easier wrapping. It handles six functions in a single device, covering drying, curling, waving, straightening, smoothing, and volumising, all without heat damage. It is priced at $899 and available from Dyson Stores and Dyson.com.sg.

The Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer is 30 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than the original Supersonic. It uses RFID sensors in each attachment to automatically adjust pressure and airflow for the best styling result. It is Dyson’s most precise hair dryer to date and is priced at $759.

The Dyson Airstrait dryer and straightener takes a different approach entirely by using only air to stretch and straighten hair from wet to dry. There is no direct plate-to-hair contact, which means less mechanical damage and a more natural, salon-smooth finish. It is priced at $799.

The Dyson Airwrap i.d. multi-styler and dryer adds Bluetooth connectivity to the experience, letting users personalise their hair profile and have the device automatically wrap, dry, and set curls with a single button press. It is also priced at $799 and removes much of the guesswork from achieving a consistent blowout.

Rounding out the range is the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer, which uses Nural sensor technology to measure the distance between the machine and scalp in real time. It maintains a consistent temperature to protect scalp health, and its attachment learning feature remembers the last setting used with each attachment. It is priced at $659.

The Formulations Worth Pairing With Them
Dyson has also highlighted three hair formulations designed to work alongside these devices. The Dyson Omega nourishing range, powered by the Dyson Oli7 blend, provides nourishment and protection against UV and heat damage. The Dyson Chitosan hair styling range offers flexible hold for all hair types throughout the day. The newest addition is the Dyson Amino leave-in scalp bubble treatment, powered by the Dyson Amino11 blend, designed to protect, hydrate, and strengthen all scalp and hair types over the long term.
A Colourway Worth Acting On
Limited-edition Dyson releases tend to move quickly in Singapore, particularly when the colourway generates this kind of genuine interest. If the Ceramic Apricot and Topaz range appeals to you or someone in your household, visiting Dyson Stores or Dyson.com.sg sooner rather than later is the sensible move.
