Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated in the 15th of the 8th month of Chinese lunar calendar. After Chinese New Year, the Mid-Autumn festival is the largest festival in China. Have you ever wondered why it is called the Mid-Autumn festival? The reason is that this tradition is celebrated in the middle of the autumn season. Some people also call it the moon festival because the festival is celebrated at the time of year when the moon is brightest and roundest.

Mooncake is a special pastry served during the Mid-Autumn festival. There is a tradition in which on the day of the festival, people will sacrifice their mooncake to the moon as an offering and consume it as a form of celebration. The cake is commonly round, and it is used to symbolise the reunion of the family. Today, mooncakes are often given as gifts to relatives and friends as a form of happiness, togetherness and completeness.

Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse is the most famous Disney characters. We all know that it is one of the oldest characters that was introduced by Disney in the early stages of development. Until today, Micky Mouse remains famous because of it’s helpful and funny character.

Marie

Marie is a cute cat that is used by Disney, and she has won the hearts of many male cats. The story of Marie shows that there is nothing more important than love. 💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶 

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.
