QT Hotels & Resorts, a beloved brand from Australia and New Zealand, is launching QT Singapore. This marks the brand’s first property in Southeast Asia and its first expansion outside of Australia and New Zealand.
QT Singapore, part of EVT, a leading Australian hospitality company, is transforming the former Hotel Telegraph into a hub of playful luxury. Known for its distinctive design, immersive experiences, and exceptional service, QT is set to redefine premium designer lifestyle accommodation in Southeast Asia.
Located next to the iconic Lau Pa Sat hawker centre and in the heart of Singapore’s renowned financial district, QT Singapore promises convenience for both corporate and leisure guests. The hotel is designed in partnership with renowned interior designer Nic Graham and will feature luxurious guest rooms and suites, a ‘Rooftop by QT’ bar and pool, and a premium fitness facility. The design-led public spaces will include a new signature bar & grill, bespoke dining options for intimate celebrations, and formal business meetings, all nodding to the property’s rich heritage.
Over the past decade, QT Hotels & Resorts has embraced the philosophy of ‘expect the unexpected,’ delivering guest experiences infused with local influences and unique quirks. QT Singapore will follow this tradition, offering an eclectic blend of art, design, fashion, and innovation. The hotel will retain the captivating neo-classical façade of the four-storey colonial heritage building, originally built in 1927, which has played a significant role in Singapore’s telecommunication history.
QT Singapore also announced the appointment of Doron Whaite as General Manager. With 20 years of experience in hospitality and numerous senior management positions across the Group, Whaite is poised to lead the hotel’s transformation.
QT Singapore is set to debut at 35 Robinson Road on September 16, promising to redefine the hospitality experience in the heart of the city. More details on the grand opening will be released soon.
