Brought Kayden for his haircut in a salon called The D’s Kiddy Salon, located in the shopping mall, Tampines One.
To describe the salon in one word, I would use the word ‘clean’. The layout of the salon is neat and tidy so this would prevent any children from tripping in the salon. There are toys and books for children to play and read while waiting for their turn. Cartoon and nursery rhyme DVDs are also available for the child to watch during their haircut. A pretty nice salon for children, which I wish I could have that when I was young.

Kayden started to cry when he heard the buzzing of the shaver.
The pricing for a toddler’s haircut is $20, which I feel is quite steep. They should make it more affordable so as to cater for the residents in Tampines. The staffs should also have more interaction with the children, instead of just focusing on their job. In general, the overall feel of this salon is comfortable but if the price could be adjusted lower, I might consider bringing Kayden for his next fashion haircut back to The D’s Kiddy Salon again.
