Meet the Reptile Ambassadors at Singapore Zoo

In a room at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, filled with lush plants and glass enclosures, a person holds a snake while others eagerly reach out to touch it.

Kick off your visit with a trip to Singapore Zoo, where you can get up close and personal with some of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s star reptiles. Don’t miss the Festive Star Animal Keeper Talk and Feeding sessions, where you’ll learn fascinating facts about the king cobra, one of the world’s most iconic and venomous snakes.

A snake with a patterned back slithers through dry leaves and grass at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, weaving a natural tale as vivid as the Year of the Snake.

For a more hands-on experience, join the Festive Meet-and-Greet at RepTopia, where you can interact with ambassador species like the vibrant Honduran milk snake. These sessions are educational and a great way to appreciate the beauty and importance of these often misunderstood creatures.

Learn About the Green Anaconda at River Wonders

At the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a green anaconda coils in its terrarium, showcasing dark markings on its scales and casting a reflection on the glass. This magnificent creature is a striking symbol for the Year of the Snake during Singapore's Lunar New Year celebrations.

Head over to River Wonders to meet the green anaconda, one of the largest snakes in the world. During the Festive Star Animal Keeper Talk, you’ll discover how these massive reptiles thrive in their natural habitat and why they play a crucial role in the ecosystem.

While there, don’t miss the Dive into Prosperity sessions, where aquarists dressed in traditional red feed aquatic animals like the giant freshwater stingray. It’s a festive twist that adds a touch of Lunar New Year magic to your visit.

Two scuba divers at Mandai Wildlife Reserve diligently clean the glass and maintain the environment in an aquarium tank, surrounded by various fish and a large shark.

Explore the Night Safari’s Enrichment Activities

For a truly unique experience, visit the Night Safari and observe the cave racer and carpet python engaging in sensory enrichment activities. These specially designed tasks help keep the snakes mentally and physically stimulated, and you’ll see their natural behaviours up close.

The Festive TwiLIGHT Performance is another highlight, featuring a dazzling LED show with Lunar New Year greetings. It’s the perfect way to end your day at the reserve.

At Singapore Zoo, the Californian sea lion will deliver festive messages during the Splash Safari presentation. Meanwhile, River Wonders and Bird Paradise will host vibrant lion dance performances with the chance to meet the God of Fortune.

💎 Weekend adventure at Jewel Changi! We had lunch at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Of course, ended it all with some waterfall fun, the classic Jewel style.
🥐 Dropped by Moonchild Café at Jalan Besar for brunch and coffee after a late night catching up on GE2025 🗳️. Definitely needed that caffeine fix!

The café has a cosy, laid-back vibe with good coffee, waffles, and bakes — plus it’s dog-friendly, which is always a win. 🐶

🚌 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT, but if you’re coming from Tampines, just take Bus 23 — it stops right outside the café.

📍 If you’re looking for a chill spot in the Jalan Besar area with good vibes and brunch, this one’s worth checking out.
😌 TGIF! I’m taking a break from all the rally heat with some grilled goodness at Sinpopo.

🧈 The Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter Sandwich really good, plus teh tarik, coffee and peanut mochi for that extra mood boost.

🗳️ Don’t forget to vote tomorrow ok?
